It has potential but right now it's annoying

My phone freezes and reboots multiple times a day whenever I try to use the camera. Take a selfie? Freeze

Smooth as Butter

Great phone, came to Pixel for the first time. Most recently from iPhone but S20 Ultra prior to that. All bugs seem to be worked out minus the fingerprint scanner but it is a minor inconvenience to me. Work vs Personal apps is about the same as Samsung but LEAGUES ahead of Apple. Camera is a negligible difference between the three but the refresh rate is GORGEOUS on the 6 Pro. Samsung was lovely but this is nut on my butter worthy! Sleek design, nice gripping, crisp screen, Google integration are all massive pros in my books. Cons - Finger Print Scanner is unresponsive sometimes, brightness auto adjust is overly aggressive.Android: settings like the message pop down from notification bar is 4 levels deep and is not used friendly to find at all because it's for each of that apps notification type. There is a way to cleanly have an all vs none button and allow to click in to adjust each individual and that's my major Android 12 recommendation and has nothing to do with the phone.

I have been a Pixel fan for years now. I started with the Pixel 2XL.I was hesitant about upgrading to the Pixel 6 line b/c of the speakers

Wish I would've kept my Pixel 3XL

Firstly, the back camera hump is just ugly and seems like a huge liability. I had no idea how big it was until I actually began using my phone and I couldn't get over how far removed it was from the phone body. I used the phone for about three days before I put a case on it and I was in constant fear of damaging that camera hump. Even with a case it protrudes pretty far out. No bueno.The biggest complaint I have has to do with the finger print reader. IT IS BAD. It's so annoying trying over and over to open my phone with the finger print reader only to have to abandon it and use the pass code instead. Sounds small but this happens almost every time I unlock my phone even with recalibration.The gesture actions are not well thought out. Sliding near either edge acts as a "back" button BUT this is also a popular gesture for different functions in several apps. So you often end up reloading your page instead of performing the action you meant. Very annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Call quality

Call quality has been sketchy several times. The person on the other line cannot hear me. The fingerprint sensor very rarely reads my finger. I've got the Google stand and I haven't found a case that will charge through it yet. Overall, I like the phone still has a few issues. I know they're working on them

It was a toss up between the Pixel 6 Pro and that other 13 phone. I'm glad I went with this one. Everything is amazing. Pics, calls, video, etc. No complaints here.

Full disclosure: I've been buying Pixel phones exclusively since the 2 XL so obv I'm a little biased but......it's a pretty good phone. Bigger screen than the 5 Great front
