I like everything but I have only wired ear buds so that's a bummer since the phone doesn't have a plug for it

Very nice phone, works super quick, and the display is awesome. Personally for me I think it's a little large but that is just where phones are going nowadays.

Premium handset had me sold!
on January 23, 2022

I'm coming from having owned a series of Samsung phones as my daily user. I'd been a Note fan from the beginning, but with the recent rumors over Samsung killing off its Note line, I was eager to try the P6P. I have been an app tester and have familiarity with not only the Pixel line, but also Nexus, Sony, LG, Moto, and many others. The attraction that the P6P would be a premium handset, and that the camera was continuing to improve on the already impressive Pixel 5 had me sold. To date, I've been impressed with the speed, clarity, zoom, night shot, and especially astrophotography of the P6P. Thanks for pushing the envelope and creating a handset to be proud of!

Pixel 6 Pro

I was optimistic transitioning back to Android from iOS to the Pixel 6 Pro would been seamless. Though the phone bugs are problematic even with the update. Certain apps don't function properly with the WiFi and at times I have to turn the WiFi off and run off data. Hopefully this will be remedied sooner than later.

Slight improvements

I love my new Pixel Phone in and out there's not very many issues I have came across, but what did bother me is that I can't change my lock screen clock and never have I ever owned a phone where I didn't have at least three other lock screen clocks to choose from. The second thing that bothers me is that the only way to turn my phone off/lock it I have to press the power button now this is just an opinion but I personally really enjoyed the double tap the screen to turn the phone off on my last phone and I feel this can easily be added in In a simple update. Also the finger print could use a little improvement.

It needs work.

Overall, the phone is great. I feel like most people that have Pixel's know phones, and they don't bias themselves with brand loyalty. I know I personally know what I need out of a phone and Google hits most of the notes. My biggest gripe compared to market leading competitors would be of course, the battery life. I mean come on Google. You guys tote your own chip design, so we should see the kinds of battery life that the competition is bringing to the table. If it wasn't for how well this phone works with my smart home infrastructure, and the fact that the assistant's voice to text is so spot on accurate (I use assistant a ton) then I probably would have gone with the 13th iteration of the fruit phone. The camera on the Pixel is amazing, but the video quality could use alot of work compared to competitors. My other main gripe with this phone is the fact that it didn't come with the charger. Upgrading from the 4a to this has been minimal in quality of life improvements. 4/5
