Feels good in the hands; camera isn't what I hoped for

I was a little worried about the size of the phone, but it doesn't feel any bigger than my 4xl did which I'm really happy about. I like the option to slide the top of the screen down so that I can push buttons up high.The magic eraser feature is everything I hoped for. It works great like 80% of the time and opens up a lot of possibilities.The 4x zoom on the phone seems to be pretty good. I was able to zoom in on a poster that was over 20 ft away and I could read small print on it.The selfie-camera has been pretty disappointing so far. Selfies haven't been as sharp as I'd hoped so far. I feel like I was getting better results on my 4xl. The face sharpening features doesn't look natural.The fingerprint sensor is ok, but a little slow. The first time I set up a fingerprint I didn't notice all the specific instructions. Going back and following the instructions more closely helped a lot, but it's still a little slow.Hopefully software updates help in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone with some misinformation

Not really seeing the adaptive battery function being used here, the life is pretty average. I also dislike how you can not take true 50MP photos, there should be a mode for it.12MP in 2022 is NOT acceptable. Those are the only complaints I have.

Excellent phone but not perfect

Overall I am very happy with the purchase of my Google Pixel 6 pro. Having had a Google pixel 3 it was an easy adjustment. Very glad they got rid of the squeeze to get assistant help in the newest pixel. I believe that is why my Pixel 3 actually started coming apart at the seams. Though the size of the phone is great for visuals, it's just a bit big for my hand size. I wouldn't mind the smaller size of the Google Pixel 6 and it would be very helpful if it had a textured surface rather than smooth. I very much wanted to use the phone without a cover but because of the slickness of its hold accented by its size compared to my hand, I will be getting a textured cover. I do enjoy the gestures to go home and back. Though occasionally flipping through pages, I end up going back rather than advancing the page. Simply something I will get used to with time.

I have been a fan of The Pixel since day 1. I love the 6 Pro and I am SO happy they brought back the pro series. The larger screen and amazing camera paired with the cloud storage and super fast response time of the phone overall... 5 stars hands down!

Mostly very good

Speed and ease of use are excellent. I love the simplicity of the interface and getting Android updates as soon as they are released. The camera adds a lot of post-processing; you can see the unprocessed shot for a brief moment followed by the automatically-enhanced final product. Sometimes I wish it would save both so that I could choose. My main complaint is a display that simply doesn't get very bright. With my last two phones (OnePlus 6T and 7T Pro), I could leave the brightness at about 50% and crank it up when I was using the phone in the sun. With the Pixel 6 Pro, a similar everyday brightness requires 80%, which means it's hard to see in daylight because the maximum brightness is pretty poor. Battery life is good. Download the "Repainter" app to add much better color theming than the standard "Material You" settings allow. Mostly, I'm happy with the phone.

Amazing phone with an awesome camera

This phone is amazing. Very thin light and sleek. Android 12 has been smooth and without any issues personally. The camera is the real killer app. It's so versatile and powerful. This Pixel 6 Pro has made my switch from iOS a breeze.

The design and feel of the Pixel 6 pro is just gorgeous and well built. Concerning the finger print smudges, that to me is minor for what this device offers - so do not let that be a show stopper for you. You might want to invest in a case thou because it's a slippery phone. The device has been snappy for me since day one and I haven't had any issues thus far. And for the finger print sensor/scanner, it's been working without any lag or being slow (to me anyway).The camera quality with all it's features has been fun to have and has produce some real gorgeous pics. The only gripe I have is I would hope for a better videoing experience. - not terrible but can be better. But seeing what Google can do, I'm sure they will be improving upon such in time. I enjoy the true Android experience of the Pixel 6 pro and I hope that it remains as it should over the years. It's an awesome device and I am looking forward to seeing great things happening with it.
