Bluetooth

Really need to fix the issue with Bluetooth connection to hearing aids. Only way to make it work is to restart hearing aid well the audio is being played. As soon as audio stops Bluetooth drops and does not reconnect automatically
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgrading from the Pixel 2 XL to Pixel 6 Pro

I can say that I sadly miss both the finger print scanner and notification slide on the back and squeeze for assistant. I'm not sure why these features were depreciated. The tap for notifications just isn't the same. I despise the finger print scanner on the front. You get a bright flash of light with every scan. In low light it is blinding and annoying. I'm not sure if that's more secure, but I find that it fails a lot more than the pixel 2xl. I even set 2 finger prints to a single finger with still more failures than the 2xl. Also, after several years of using bottom navigation, I immediately turned off the gesture navigation.As for the positives, most of the UI is identical. It is a little speedier, and doesn't slow after having more than 3 apps running in the foreground. The camera takes excellent pictures that are on par with the 2xl. Zooming provides a bit more clarity. I'm not big into pictures so you'll need better advice from someone else on that.

Fingerprint reader sucks!

The most disappointing thing on this phone is the fingerprint reader. I miss my dedicated fingerprint reader on the Pixel 2 XL.

Great device, horrible phone

There connection is terrible. Fix whatever bug stops it from having a decent connection to my mobile service provider and it would be nearly perfect. Fingers crossed that update is pushed out soon...The cameras are amazing. Personally, I'd rather have a more balanced overall thickness of the entire phone instead of having such a thick camera and thin everything else. The phone is rather top heavy because of the camera so some charging stands are hard to keep the phone on. Very well done overall.

great but missing some standard features

so far it's been great , but coming from a OnePlus world a few features missing... Hidden app drawer, the ability to password protect specific apps, etc etc.. bring back the screenshot option on the power button from Android 10.... power plus volume down on a phone with both buttons on the same side is kinda kludgy
