Not bad, not great.

First off, when I jumped into the Pixel Pro 6 on default settings, I felt similar to going from driving automatic to manual. Like I know how it works, but it's not intuitive at all. Finally googled how to turn off the gesture controls because they are way too touchy. The fingerprint ID is light based versus previous models and I've tried everything between deleting and adding new profiles and straight up making multiple profiles for the same finger. It is very inconsistent in it's accuracy and 5 out of 7 times I have to default to the pin to open my phone (I even turned on safe locations at home so as not to be bothered by it.)This two things aside, I love not having to worry about space with 512GB on board. Battery life is amazing, and the camera is superb.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pixel 6 Pro is my favorite Pixel phone so far!

I have been using Google Phones since the the Nexus line. I immediately fell in love with the Pixel line when it first came out. I have purchased each model throughout the years and Pixel 6 Pro has been my personal favorite since if transferred my data from my Pixel 5. Pixel 6 Pro has exceeded my expectations. From the new chipset to fingerprint scanner on the screen, I am impressed!Switching from the fruit branded products is highly recommended! You will not be disappointed.

The touch pad is eh at points because of the rounded edges. Swipe texting isn't accurate half the time. Battery life is ok. Honestly if my mic and camera weren't messed up on my pixel 3xl I would have just stuck with that phone.

My honest opinion

I have now had my phone for a little over a week and feel like I can give a good first impression on the Google Pixel 6 Pro. First and foremost, the phone is beautiful. The two tone color on the back is elegant and sophisticated. The design is sleek and fits comfortably in your hand. The only downfall with the design I have found is the phone is slippery when sat on fabric. So you will want to get a case for it. The camera is great so far, and look forward to diving deeper into the realm of possibilities that the camera features can provide. The processing power and speed at which it runs my apps and switching between them had been great. The display and resolution of the images is clear and vibrant. The battery life lasts me almost a full day when I'm using it a lot, and lasts past a 24 hour period when I'm not always on it. It connects to my Samsung watch and ear buds great! The only wish would be to see how long it will take until my phone was charged. Hope it helped!

The low light photos are phenomenal. I would say portrait isn't as defined compared to the Pixel 4 I came from. Battery life wasn't great at 1st. Disabled the 120hz refresh rate and now it's respectable. I like the screen. I wish it was not curved, but it is nice looking. Overall I am very happy with my 512gb version of the Pro. I do wish Google offered storage with Pixels still.

What good is a phone if you never have service?

Basically what the title says. Constantly losing service while I'm away from wifi turning my phone into an expensive brick.
