Great phone, but not as much as I had hoped!

Although Pixel 6 Pro is a great phone, I don't see it as a big improvement over my previous Pixel 3XL for the price. 6 Pro is faster overall (of course, it should be) and has a better battery, but other than that, can't see much else. The fingerprint sensor on the 3XL was much much better (both in location and sensitivity). I also don't like the curved edges on the 6 Pro.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Camera, Other Changes Detrimental

I'm glad that there is increased storage, the camera continues to be an industry leader, and obviously the phone is faster. But many of the changes are actually a significant downgrade from previous pixel versions. For instance, the fingerprint scanner barely works and I have to enter my passcode more often than not. Everything about getting my phone unlocked and usable is frustrating with it. The removal of the quick access camera button on the lock screen is irritating even though there is a button action that replaces it. It is also incomprehensible as to why the power button no longer controls the power (you now have to use a menu screen), but they continue to refer to it as a "power" button. I also have several issues with the latest Android update, but those are not specific to the pixel pro. Lastly, I remain frustrated by the fact that there is not a separate headphone jack but that is unfortunately an issue with most if not all phones today.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great but needs some work

Overall I love this phone and I love all the Google features that I am now able to use. It is just fully immersed in the Google ecosystem.Fortunately, I have not experienced the major issues others are describing at this point.I did have some issues with the messages app where I couldn't receive any texts for half a day and needed to do multiple network resets and additionally use the Verizon App chat bot. For some reason that made it work for me.All in all great phone but the software needs to tweaking. But that should all iron itself out over the next weeks with updates.

Great phone. Good battery life. Fast and sturdy. Fantastic camera. But... fingerprint scanner is terrible. I definitely miss the squeeze for assistant and face I'd actually was useful. Other than that good phone.

Love My Pixel 6 Pro

I'm really enjoying my new Pixel 6 Pro! It's fast and responsive and I love the large screen. The voice quality on my phone calls is perfect! I haven't had the opportunity to do much with the camera yet as I've only had the phone for a week and a half. There are a few things that I would love to see added in future updates, such as the ability to have folders in the app drawer and some additional wallpapers and themes would be fun. I am a loyal Android user but this is the first time that I have owned a Pixel phone. I am thrilled that I took the plunge, I have no regrets.
