Great Phone! With Some Bugs

Really excellent software experience so far. But with the new Android 12 operating system there are a couple of bugs that need attending. But with monthly software updates, I don't see this being an issue for buyers. With a stock Android experience, this phone is a must-have for those who want to have the latest and greatest software from Google without the bloatware you can expect from other phones. I can see myself using this phone for the next few years without regret!

I like my pixel 6 pro a lot. I miss some of the little Tweeks that my OnePlus had in settings. Pixel 6 Pro Needs A Face Unlock period, it just does. The fingerprint reader isn't as fast, or accurate as my OnePlus 6T so it needs some updates to solve that. I want longer battery life without going into power saving mode. I will add that I have not killed it as the battery is still new, bit the movies I have watched have been down loaded, 5g is turned off as it's said to be a big power drain. Wifi is turned off when not at home. I have used screen dim, power saver and extreme power saver and I have gotten 6 to 6 1/2 hours Screen on Time with 30-35% battery remaining. I was hoping I could keep my screen brightness up, like people with Samsung Galaxy and iphone users enjoy and still make it to the end of the day with battery life. At this point I don't see it happening even with the huge 5000mah battery. If this could be loner I could tell you I do what I do like about most everything else

Great Phone, but . . .

Only issue I have with the phone and it's a big one, is the instability of its connection to my car system with Android Auto. It's a feature I use every day, worked great on my previous phone (LG G8), it's hit or miss with the Pixel. Some trips it works almost the whole time, other trips it bounces on and off to the point I just give up. If you are a heavy AA user, you may want to wait until this issue is fixed. If you don't use AA, I have had no other issues with the phone.

I finally replaced my original Pixel XL after 4 years of flawless service. The Pro lives up to all of my expectations, phone call quality, camera sensitivity and color accuracy, battery life, and RF performance. The only box not checked is the finger print reader. The original rear reader was rock solid 100% of the time. The new front reader is closer to 90% not to mention retraining my muscles to use my thumb instead of the my index finger. Just a honest review. I have recommended the Pixel 6 Pro to several friends who have made the switch from another ecosystem after side by side trials.

Nice phone some issues

Everything about this flagship was as described. However, I had multiple connection issues connecting this phone to my cars bluetooth. This happened a few times with just an endless connection failure loop. The few times it was able to stay connected, Spotify would play and pause constantly. Hopefully this bug gets resolved in a future patch.
I would recommend this to a friend!
