Some of the apps get cut off from curved edge screen. And I miss face Id unlock. And is been acting funny on some apps, maybe waiting on software update.

Coming from a pixel 4xl, the pro 6 is not as smooth with open and closing apps. Last night I was not receiving my text messages and had to reboot the phone. So far not impressed. Starting to think I should have kept my 4xl

Google Pixel 6 Pro First Impressions

Moving from my battery bloated Pixel 4 XL to the Pixel 6 Pro was an absolute breeze. The step-by-step instructions were so easy to follow and the transfer went so quickly I was done in no time at all.

Should be better than this

Phone is heavier than any other that I have owned. Fingerprint reader is flaky for me.I cannot use my phone to project to my TV, that is a significant issue for me.

Some ways Evolutionary but 100% not Revolutionary

I have had the G1,Nexus 5, Pixel 4 and now the Pixel 6 pro. From the G1 line to the Nexus line to the Pixel line they have remained a reference phone. They started out being a reference phone for the Android ecosystem as a whole but now have been reference for is possible within Google's own ecosystem. The Google line phones started as a budget reference phone to an attempt to be a consumer device. The Google phones at heart are still a working concept. They are not consumer device they are a niche product. The Pixel 6 pro is the Pixel 4 XL with new design and updated modern hardware. The battery life is average,speed average, camera average compared to pixel 4XL and they removed the face unlock. The 6pro like all Google phones have build quality issues and software bugs that are not acceptable as a consumer product. For a consumer device this phone is 2/5 stars but as enthusiast device 3/5 stars. Google's process and methodology is why their products are not consumer devices.

This has been a huge disappointment. Blurry snapchat photos all the time. Bad battery life. No updates yet due to Google blunder.....

So far no problems like those reported - was bought unlock from google am on verison service. Seamless transfer from old Pixel 5 - had to add a few apps - all data came across intact. Only thing that to me is weird cause I've never before used a phone without a case - and took few days for one to show up - my problem cause couldn't decide upon which case I wanted. And this phone is slicker than - ice, snot or whatever you like to describe slick. I will say it feels nice to hold without a case, but I expected to drop very time I used it. This is a personal judgment and not in any way a or - about phone just an observation. I can tell way faster than the 5 and nice screen but it should be, being the flagship of google. Wasn't sure if I would like the larger size but again ended up being a not big deal.Another gripe I've read about, the huge back camera - without case I liked the fact it didn't rock around when typing- a super with case no problem still.
