Not Ready For Primetime

I wanted the pure Android experience so I bought a Pixel 6 Pro with the 128 GB storage in late November 2021. The phone keeps dropping my calls and now I find out there's a bug with the December software update. Google is trying to tout its custom processor and software, and it can't sort out its December update to fix the dropped calls' problem?? LOL...I should've bought an iPhone. This phone is a certified junker.

I've been disappointed so far. It's very similar to my pixel 4 XL to some degree but while the phone is faster, there are downsides. No facial recognition. The fingerprint recognition is very poor. Way worse than old iphones. And the talk-to-tezt function is absolutely horrible. Way worse than my 4 XL. And when I send texts, half the time it duplicates the text. I am regretting this purchase so far.

Best phone ever

I love this phone. The pure Android experience is a LOT better than using a phone from other brands that load their own interfaces, or phones from carriers that put a bunch of crapware on the phone. The display is big and bright and smooth. The cameras are sharp and clean. The phone is really slick (I swear it slides off completely horizontal surfaces), so a clear skin is highly suggested. I have had zero problems with the fingerprint scanner, and using my thumb as one of the print unlocks makes opening the phone a one-handed affair. The only nit I can pick is: why did Google put the power button on the same side as the volume control? This makes taking a screen shot a two-handed affair.

Awesome camera. Solid UI. Secured OS with regular patches. Only 1 star?!!1. It fails the core purpose of a phone... making and receiving calls!Phone keeps dropping network (T mobile) and many calls go straight to voice mail, even though I have data connectivity. 2. Not a fan of how slippery and unimaginative the phone looks and feels.Please fix the connectivity issues asap Google! It's ruining an otherwise fantastic phone.

This is a phone that the other phone companies should watch out for. It's a little different to get use to over my former Samsung phone. It takes patience and you will enjoy the phone to the highest.

Slow loses service slot kind of freezes and lags battery life is pretty low had a beautiful display camera works pretty well but I am definitely a Samsung girl and soiled to that type of phone and phone quality. This isn't a bad phone but needs more finishing.
