Great phone, Google just needs to get the software together with all these bugs. I've always loved the pixel line of phones, I just really need Google to release a good and solid update with a fix for all these bugs. If it were not for the bugs, it would be a fantastic phone. I'm not giving up on them though.

Excellent Handset. Where's my December Update?

I am a long-time Pixel fan. My fandom started with the Nexus 7 tablet and then to the first Pixel phone. The Pixel 1(?) turned out to be a hot mess; after two exchanges and much frustration, I gave it up after 9 months and went back to Samsung. Fast forward to 2020 and the newest batch of Pixels. I bought a 4a (5G) out of curiosity and then a 5 after being very impressed. After several months with the 5, I realized the only thing missing was a big screen; after years of Samsung Galaxy Notes, small screens just didn't cut it with me anymore. When the Pixel 6 was announced, I got in line right away, waiting 6 weeks for my Sorta Sunny model to arrive. (I'm done with black/blue/gray/ugly phones; I want something with character. To each his/her own.) So far, this phone has been excellent in virtually all measurements. Battery life is very good but the (never coming) December update was supposed to make it better. Otherwise, excellent connectivity and ease of use. Highly recommended!

The most helpful phone!

I find the Pixel 6 Pro to be the most helpful smartphone I've ever had! I had the Pixel 4 XL before this. The cameras are wicked fast, the screen is very fluid (120 Hz experience), and the addition of the fingerprint reader has been helpful when unlocking the phone while using a mask. The battery life isn't great but I am not worried. I am sure it will improve as the phone learns my usage patterns and optimizes battery draw accordingly - I had a similar situation with the Pixel 4 XL where the battery did not last me a single day for the first month but it started increasing as the days went by. My Pixel 4 XL now lasts me a day and a half. My one gripe with this device is how slippery it is! It is like holding glass laced with butter. Using a case eliminates this but I prefer using my devices without a case.Great job Pixel team! You have outdone yourself :D

The pixels have been hit or miss over the years, I'm an avid apple user. But I started using pixels for the 2,4 and now the 6 pro. Overall I love the phone and the camera, but there are some software issues that need to be resolved. But overall I am happy with the quality and price of the phone

Phone seems to be pretty great. Camera, screen, speaker ECT, all seems nice. Like others have said the finger print biometric needs some work. Facial recognition would be a plus. But I like the phone so far and as long as the updates and security patches keep up regularly, I will have a good phone. Don't drop the ball on this GOOGLE. This is my 1st google phone, Don't make it my last.

I expected more from Google's Pixel 6 Pro

I've only had it for about 2 weeks, and while there are many things that I have enjoyed such as the camera and flow of the operating system, I've been sadly disappointed with the number of glitches, including frozen screens, inability to type messages, frozen apps, and other issues that I never had on my last two pixel phones. Battery time has been tremendous, never leaving me with less than 30% at the end of long days. With more than 25 Google connected products in my home, I am all-in on the Google operating system, so I will stick it out while I wait for updates that hopefully correct the issues.

Closest to my all time fav, pixel 3xl. The size weight and feel are excellent. It took 9 weeks to get my 6 xl pro 512, !worth the wait. Have not experienced any issues as of yet. 1 week in.
