Great phone

So far so good. I've only been using the phone for about a week, but it seems to be as good as advertised. Does everything I need it to and the battery holds up for a whole day of fairly heavy use. Great job Google!

I like the phone. I was told to get a new one vs waiting the time for my Pixel 4 XL to come back from battery work. To me the phone is similar to the 4 XL, after the 4 XL Android 12 update I really see no difference in phone abilities. Here is my complaint. I have an Otterbox case made for the Pixel 6 Pro and the phone will not charge. However, if positioned just right, the phone will charge. This happens on any wireless puck/stand I use. Very frustrating, to the point I have thought about returning the phone. Google search indicated that Google finally acknowledged the problem and fixing in the December 2021 update. Until that update, I do not know if the problem will be fixed. Even without the Otterbox case, the phone didn't wireless charge properly. I should be able to place the phone on a puck/stand and it charge.For a flagship phone, I am not impressed; however, I have only had the phone for a week.

Great Phone

Pixel 6 Pro is a lovely new phone.Cannot turn off 5G and I'm in a bad 5G zone so it sits and eats my battery.At this time Google has provided no answer for how to turn off 5G when I'm sitting in a 4G rich area. Not to mention I'm on WiFi and it's still fighting to get cell signal instead of use the WiFi available to it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Like the title states, this is the phone that I've been waiting for. I've always appreciated the adaptability and personalization of Android phones. Android 12 on the Google 6 Pro keeps with this theme and is what I've been waiting for, for the past 4.5 years

Extreme Potential

I purchased my pixel from a resale site, at a price I was more comfortable spending on a brand new phone, with new in house silicon. During my week of ownership a few bugs have popped up but that's to be expected with any new device in this mass production age. However, the smoothness, intelligence and ease I've experienced are blessings. The Camera! Is beautiful and buttery smooth. My main complaints with device/software is a lack of full native icon control, very slow charging, even compared to my 3 year old OnePlus 7 pro, and the occasional dropping of signal(which I believe a potential fix is floating around on the web.) Just these few Tweeks and the addition of some ecosystem partners like a pixel watch and new premium pixel buds would put this new phone in stronger competition with the likes of apple and Samsung. But view solitarily, the pixel 6 pro is a beautiful and would 9/10 suggest this phone to anyone

Great, but issues bring it down.

So far I love the phone, it's definitely an upgrade from my 4XL. But like others have mentioned the finger print sensor is frustrating. I've added my thumb a couple of times in hopes that it would work better, but it still takes 3/4 attempts everytime to successfully unlock the phone. So far knock on wood. That has been my only issue. The display is beautiful. The phone is fast so far games I have played on it have been great. No issues. Definitely glad to see Google making their presence known.
