An amazing flagship

The Pixel 6 Pro has all the software sweetness from Google, with the most amazing cameras and on-device speech processing. The cameras are amazing... Being wanted to zoom fluidly from 0.7x to 10x without worrying about switching cameras since the camera app handles all that for you! The on-device speech processing is amazing for the obvious benefits of things like real time translating languages, but it has other benefits. Speech processing is so fast now that you can use it for things like stopping/snoozing alarms and other more mundane tasks that weren't possible before (when speech processing had the lag from being sent up to the cloud for processing). I've always enjoyed the Pixel phones, but this is their most perfect synergy yet of software and hardware.

Almost great, and getting better...

Love this phone having moved up to the Pixel 6 Pro from a Pixel 3 XL. Some navigation changes took a little getting used to such as the "back" swipe and the "home" swipe as sometimes I would accidentally select an app instead of going to another screen. When typing quickly sometimes I'll miss a few letters as the phone "catches up" with me. The phone just feels good in your hand, even with a case on it. Opted out of the glass screen protectors I have used in the past, going for a cleaner look. As expected, this phone did not come with a charger or usb-c earphones, :-( , will probably get the cord free charging stand with much quicker charge time. The camera is absolutely awesome! Battery life appears to be quite good, so far (1 week). Overall, a 4.5 for now, more to follow after 30 days or so.

WOW no BLOAt!

I've always enjoyed the Samsung phones because of how well-made they are but the one downside is that they had a bunch of bloat software. My husband had told me that Nexus in Google phones were the way to go because of how open and free they were. I got my pixel Pro and I have to say I am absolutely pleased with this phone. It feels like a phone that belongs to ME and I don't feel like I'm constantly being advertised to or forced to use programs I don't want to use. I wish more phones were made like this

It's a beautiful piece of hardware. Most everything seems to run smoothly. There are things I wish the pixel launcher had. To go into a folder and then click "add apps" and to be able to organize everything quickly. Nope. Not pixel launcher. Nova launcher does though. I really wish Google would take note of Nova, see the things Nova does right that Google doesn't. It's sad that Google is trying to mimick iOS (or vice versa). And the search bar. When I search, I'll either open the Google app or do voice search, ie. Hey Google. That was a pretty onerous decision. People go to Android do to the freedom it provides. Not to be forced to do things the way a freaking massive corporation wants.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely thrilled

Having updated directly from the original Google Pixel (!?), one may not be surprised at how impressed I am with my new Google Pixel 6 Pro but it's been everything I expected and more. The screen is impressive with its punchy color and clarity and the OS is smooth. I have not had any issues with the fingerprint reader which has been widely discussed. Set up was easy and call quality is excellent. Sound is wonderful and, despite its size, it doesn't feel overly bulky in my hands. I have yet to fully utilize the camera's potential but photographs to date have been excellent. Time will tell as far as durability is concerned, but if it's anything like my original Pixel, I expect this to give me good service for years to come.

Great phone, lives up to all my expectations. Very good classic pixel experience, camera and battery life both strong features. Only downsides are the fingerprinter sensor (which is improving with updates), and how slippery the back of the phone is.
I would recommend this to a friend!
