Love the phone

Had it about a week. Basically I love the phone. Minimal extra apps. Easy to setup. Great screen, well made , fastttt. Cons:No automatic login after entering password or pin. A little annoying. No face recognition login. I did get used to it on my last phone. Fingerprint sensor never works for me. I don't care what phone.

I am still trying to figure out this new phone. There are some things very different from my old Samsung Galaxy phone, so I'm still getting used to it. I'm sure I will love it when I get used to it.

So far so good

I'm very pleased so far. The user interface is very responsive and smooth. The camera is great. And Android 12 has been a very clean and enjoyable experience. I'm converted from Samsung's Note universe and if Google keeps up with this, I don't plan on going back. I just hope that Google is responsive to user requests in future updates and makes things even better. My biggest gripe is the at-a-glance feature that's persistent on the home screen. This should either be optional or more customizable with better visual appeal. Otherwise I'm very pleased.

It's fine I guess

My first new phone in 4 years. Really wanted to be blown away by it! But my S8 from 2017 has better screen resolution, literally. The 6 Pro gets hot in your hands if you're using it while charging, and the battery life is surprisingly short. I really, really wanted to love this phone, but it's just kind of a "meh" experience to be stuck with for 3 more years. It WAS really nice to get a phone without all the bloatware that other manufacturers force on you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pixel 6 Pro

I've had the top tier Blackberry, iPhone, HTC, Motorola, Samsung and LG smartphones. This has been the most comfortable and easily adaptable phone I have used. The setup, smoothness, usefulness and just all-around aesthetic is amazing. This is my first Pixel phone and I am planning to stick with this family from now on. I wish I would've started sooner with the earlier versions. Haven't had an issue with battery, fingerprint or reception as some others have experienced. Most of those issues were resolved for others with the latest December update. I had decided on the Pixel 6 but, due to the Pixel Pass and trade in program, I went with the Pro version. Feels like a great premium device. You won't be missing out on anything major if choosing the Regular Pixel 6. I would recommend the Pixel line to anyone that is looking for a capable phone which also comes with some of the latest and greatest. Just know that it's worth it! ;)

Google pixel pro 6 pretty good

So the pixel is taking some time to get used too. The UI is fairly basic and the options for various widgets is limited. The UI is a bit laggy....for example when the display adjusts to different lighting it jumps rather than smoothly transitions. The 5g is also not a big improvement and may actually limit reception when the signal is weak. All that being said it is much better than my dying LG G8 was...so overall I would recommend the phone...though it is not a samsung phone....but then again neither is its price. For the money a good phone.
