Quality control needs improvement

I love my Pixel 6 Pro, all about it is great, hardware and software, I have been a Samsung user for quite a while (Note series fan) but since Samsung seems to have moved on from the note I give google a shoot (I used pixel 2 before and loved it), this might be the best experience as a whole software and hardware so far, camera takes the best pictures I have seen on a cell phone so far, specially at night time.My only complain is the quality control, I got my Pixel with the left top corner metal edge not coated completely so it looks like I dropped the phone already it is not the biggest issue since I have the cover on all the time and that covers the edge, this is why I am giving it a 4 star review instead of 5.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great alternative to iOS

Having been with Apple since the first iPhone in 2007, the Pixel 6 Pro was the first phone to tempt me to even look at Android. I must admit, this has been an amazing experience switching. Everything i could do on an Iphone i can do on this Pixel, but even better. The amount of customization can seem overwhelming at first, but after a week, you begin to appreciate it. So many times i wished iOS would do things and it wouldn't. Now, I tweak a setting and it does that I need. I can not see myself going back at this point. Thanks, Google!

Comparing to Pixel 6 Pro to 4 XL

I was expecting much more from 2 years of development but sadly disappointed. The lack of face recognition and a poor fingerprint scanner means that pin code entry is mostly required every time to access phone. The camera, display and speed difference is unnoticeable between the 6 Pro and 4XL. Not worth upgrading in my opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the the first Google brand phone I have owned and so far so good, I have had LG phones in the past and have always liked the way they operate but now they don't make phones and had to switch but like the way the Pixel 6 pro operates so far. It has lots of features that antipate my needs and am enjoying it so far.

its a good device wish it did not have curved display beside that its nice.great picture taking and nice picture display must use a case its slippery.its also smooth the software is and fast.

Missing facial recognition

On my 2nd week and have found the fingerprint reader is lacking due to not always reading 2 different fingerprints all the time. Especially problematic when my hands are cold. Have not yet deeply explored everything but find improvements over the Pixel 4 XL on a daily basis. I do hope Facial Recognition comes back as a future update since a lot of time I'm not masked. Also liked the FingerPrint reader before when it was on the back. This is my 4th Pixel. Definitely a fan.
