Randomly disconnects from 5G service like the Pixel 5. The Pixel 6 pro randomly loses the Bluetooth connection. The 6 pro is definitely not better than Pixel 5 In my opinion.....6 pro is supposed to have a much larger battery, however, my battery runs out quicker in the 6 pro than it did in the 5

I upgraded from a pixel 4 to the Pixel 6 Pro and have been pretty happy with it. The battery life is much better and the display quality and camera are awesome. I take a lot of photos with my phone and the camera is one of the best parts about the phone.My only complaint so far is I have only had the phone a few weeks and the screen has several small scratches in it. I only carry it in my pocket all by itself same as my pixel 4 and it never got scratches like this one has. It has a case and I ordered a screen protector, hopefully that prevents future scratches.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but not spectacular

The pixel 6 pro is a decent phone but doesn't appear to do anything extraordinarily well. The biggest detractors are the issues with some of the features. I haven't gotten the December update yet but as if now there are a number of issues. First is the in-screen fingerprint reader. It's very unreliable. Often it doesn't read my finger or takes about 5 seconds to read it. It's convenient to have it in the screen but not easy to use. Second is the OS itself. There are random issues all over the place. From the bottom of the screen slider bar (used to go to the home screen or open up the app switcher) not appearing in some instances to certain gestures (like tapping the back of the phone to do some action) not working. I've also had connectivity issues when not connected to wifi where my 5G connection shows as strong but I have no internet. Third is battery life. If I'm playing a simple game or if I'm using the phone a lot, the battery lasts maybe 3/4 of the day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Phone, Finicky Fingerprint Scanner

Great phone with great sound and great camera. The only issue is the in screen fingerprint scanner. Most of the time, it doesn't work. I keep adding more fingerprint ID's but it still doesn't work that great. Most of the time, I just use the pin code.

I had huge expectations, and was extremely let down. Very sad to say there are tons of issues with reception and battery. I have dual sim and there are know connection issues (Google them), so they must be constantly trying to connect or maintain connection because it kills battery life and daily I have to reboot the phone 2-3 times. Specifics: texts fail, calls won't go through, my connection on 1 or both sims completely drops. This is happening multiple times per day, so using it for work and personal is beyond frustrating. If they can fix these issues, I am sure the rest of the phone's greatness will shine through. Please Google, from a long time Pixel user, please fix these issues...quickly.

Almost love

Let me say I have been using Samsung phones for about a decade. Love'm or hate'm but they make a quality product. Lotsa bloatware but I got used to it. This is my first Pixel. It felt like a change was needed. I like the Pixel but I have concerns.First concern is the temperature this thing achieves with the simplest of tasks. Even while charging. Long term effects of this are probably not good.Another concern or annoyance is the slow charging of this phone. I know it supposed to help with the batteries long term health but let's face it with the way phones are swapped out nowadays it seems like an odd direction to take.As I write this I am still inside my return window and I am not 100% I will be keeping this phone. I like it but I am not yet in love with it.
