Mostly outstanding phone!

With the exception of the in screen fingerprint reader, I *adore* this phone! The camera is outstanding (I had a Pixel 3 before, and I loved it), battery life is very good, and there's even a phone attached! lol Seriously, put the fingerprint reader back on the back of the phone where it belongs, and it would be perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Short: Missing basic features most flagship phones even had in 2019, super buggy (Sure, they'll address some of it but come on, where's your QA team?), not well integrated w/Google ecosystemLong: I love all Google products, from Docs to Home to Photos... So I've always wanted a solid Google phone I can use seamlessly with the rest of the ecosystem (Not fight Apple's walled garden every time) But Google apparently just won't give us even a decent optionI had previously owned a Pixel 4 (which was ok for flagship standards back then) but had to switch to an iPhone12 Pro since Pixel 5 seemed to be a downgrade in all aspects. Fast forward a year and a half, I read some glowing reviews about Pixel 6 so I (wishfully) took the plunge again;Disappointing battery, very outdated text app, screen constantly hazing out or flickering, camera crashing constantly, missing face unlock (I didn't appreciate how efficient it is until Pixel took me back...Overall a very disappointed Google fan

Great Phone

High quality screen, camera, UI and AI. The battery life is outstanding. I think this is a great phone. My only knocks: It charges slowly and I would have liked a 1tb storage option. Otherwise, I'm a big fan. The Tensor chip handles everything I throw at the phone with ease and seems power efficient. Translation and speech have been very accurate.

Seems to do everything just as well as any other flagship phone. With some additional features on Google Assistant like the call screening. So far so good.

Excellent phone, Hoping for long term improvements

Overall, this is a significant upgrade over my Pixel 5. The screen is better than the pixel 5 in terms of brightness, and resolution. It's easy to read during the day in full brightness. The processor is phenomenal, with no hitching or stutters in almost any application I have used. The battery is improving day by day. I'm only on day 4 of the phone and by now the optimizations have enabled the battery to last a full 18 hours on a charge. The camera has to be the best I've ever seen on a smartphone, and most pictures are DSLR quality. The editor is awesome and I'm in love with the night shots and astrophotography. 10/10 happy to have this phone and can't wait to get the buds and charging stand this Christmas to match!

My phone has had issues from the start and will be getting returned. It had issues with the SIM not being recognized as valid/ not supported. Issues with network disconnecting. Issues with using the USB OTG. Display flickering when off if the power button is tapped. And I had issues with android auto disconnecting so much I had to revert to using the navigation built into my head unit. I'm sure I would have found more bugs if I used the phone for more than 36 hours (of which I was on the phone with tech support, in the store, or googling for fixes for at least 6 hours.
