Loaded but lacking something

I love the device and all of the bells and whistles, but there are quite a few things that I'd like to be able to customize or find easier to change. I've had to look up so many settings hoping I could change them but some I couldn't. I've run into quite a few bugs that frustrated me and sadly I keep finding more but I'm not sure if some are on the carrier side. I'm still getting used to everything since being an iphone fan for years. I live the photos app and Google assistant but there could even be improvements in those strong points. Hopefully over time things get fixed or updates come out that make things better but so far I do 'like' my phone but I'm struggling to say I love it. In total the pixel 6 pro is a nice upgrade for sure and it has lots of apps that beat out the iPhone for sure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First Week: Awesome Phone

I have been using Google Phone right from Nexus era, this Pixel 6 pro is one of the best phones I have used. Loving the overall experience on this phone.There are few glitches, but hope that all those are fixed in next few weeks or months.
I would recommend this to a friend!

it's finally here

I have had and tried every single pixel phone only keeping the original pixel xl, the pixel 4xl and now the pixel 6 pro. prior to the pixels I was the biggest Nexus fan, having a few operations of that phone as well. the pixel 6 pro is finally giving me everything I wanted in a phone. the big screen, the nice speakers, fast processor, water resistance, and good battery life. seeems like I was always waiting with every year with the pixel to finally get everything that I wanted and this phone has finally achieved it. I do believe this will be my phone for the next three years. I love the pictures of takes plus with it having improved video makes it even better. I look forward to using my phone every chance that I get. I thought the curved screen would bother me, but I have no complaints about it. the size does not feel that big because it is only a little bit taller than my pixel 4 XL. never thought I would ever say this but I'll be satisfied with this phone for a long time.

Great phone with improved video!

There's not much to improve on an already great device however the Pixel 6 Pro has improved its video recording dramatically. The only complaint I have is that the AE (auto-exposure) lock is not longer available, thus forcing users to manually adjust settings each time they want to record. This is bothersome especially for those who take short and quick videos of their children playing sports (and more problematic for those plaing indoor sports). My daughter plays hockey and i hit record at a moments notice. I shouldn't have to worry about adjusting AE settings every time which causes a delay in recording the action.

Love it!

Significantly better than my Moto Z3. I do miss the mods functionality though. The screen randomly turns on if you have the fingerprint scanner enabled and there is no way I have found to stop that. Pictures look a little too doctored in some shots and others look great! People for the most part look very CGI'd which isn't great. Battery is okay, but the phone is also new.

Wanted a pure Android phone and this isn't it. Unfortunately this phone lacks things like grouping apps, hiding apps, etc.

Getting used to new functionality

Jumping from a Pixel 2XL to the new 6Pro has been an experience as I get adjusted to the new software functionality available to me and the awesome hardware! I do miss the squeeze function but I am quickly getting used to double tapping or using the power button when I need the assistant. I look forward to discovering new functionality as I get acquainted with my new phone. Highly recommend the upgrade to anyone looking for a solid product.
