I'm coming from a Nexus 5, and I kind of miss my Nexus 5. The display is great and the phone feels very high quality, but there definitely seem to be some issues how reactive the phone is. I also struggle with the curved edges in that items clicked near the edges don't respond consistently and I find myself having to tap multiple times. The battery life is abysmal. A big step backwards.Lastly, I don't like the finger print scanner on the screen. Aside from being slow to unlock, it just feels much more natural on the back of the phone like on the Nexus 5. I'm sure there are some really nice features this phone has that I'll get around to valuing, but so far, I'm not super impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgrade from 4xl.Love it so far despite some small issues that are being already handled(look at fingerprint reader).

Has small flaws

Has small flaws. Has trouble at first, with staying connected to blue tooth. I'll go to text. Click the texting area, keyboard won't pop up. Simply closing completely out, and retrying never failed yet. All I have noticed so far. 1 week into the phone. Camera is awesome! Erase feature is cool with camera. Fast speed. Didn't let phone change 24 hours straight before use. Battery will still last me a good 10 hours, with heavy use

Hard to learn; fiddly

I am not pleased with this phone. It has a curved face, which means anything on the margins isn't going to react properly. To see multiple windows open or to move from window to window requires you to place your finger just so, and swipe just so with clinical accuracy. I hate this phone. I miss my Google pixel 2 so much and wish I hadn't accepted the trade in for it.

Some amazing things and some GRRRR things

Was SO excited to get this new phone coming from a Pixel 3. Its much more substantial and feels very high-end. The screen and camera (as expected) are amazing. The phone is much bigger than I am used to and will take some getting used to, especially since I am used to putting it in my suit or jeans pocket and not thinking about it. This is much heavier and bigger and almost doesn't fit in my suit pocket (jeans is ok). Having said that the screen is beautiful and I definitely enjoy having a larger screen.A few MAJOR gripes about the phone so far. It keeps dropping bluetooth in my car (Toyota 4Runner 2019) which is SUPER annoying especially since I regularly am on work calls in my car. Also for some reason voicemails stop playing when I lift the phone to my ear, even though on speaker they are fine. Finally I REALLY miss the TWO button navigation which appears to no longer be there on this phone though not sure why since I can do with my Pixel 3 with Android 12 no problem.

There has yet to be one major con to this phone. I upgraded from the 5 to the 6 Pro. Even though the 5 had a whopping 8 GB of RAM, the 12 GB of RAM on this phone is just amazing. Along with the 120Hz refresh rate is yet another amazing standout feature. The camera is far more than what I had expected. Overall, this phone is one outstanding product. I highly recommend upgrading today.

Couldn't love it more!

I had the Pixel 3 for over 2 years but continued to struggle with storage. I use my phone extensively for business and I need a LOT of apps. I was hesitant about the 6 Pro because I had heard about issues with the bio scanner which I use to keep sensitive client information secure. I also was concerned about the scanner being on the screen instead of the back which I was more used to. My concerns were unfounded. Scanner works flawlessly. I love having more storage than I'm likely to ever need. Took me a minute to get used to the larger size and it is heavier so I've ordered a LoveHandle and hope that will make it easier to hold. If you are thinking about getting this phone, do it. I think you'll love it too.
