Love it

I love this phone. I'm biased though since I really liked my Pixel 3, but I figured that now was the perfect time to upgrade with the release of the Pixel 6 pro. The screen is beautiful and it feels fast and responsive. The only thing I don't like is the emergency call setting when you have a locked screen. It can't be disabled either, yet. 9/11 has been dialed twice already by mistake. Other than that, I have no real complaints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The battery life is great, I really like the adaptive charging feature. So far the camera system is nice, but I haven't had time to use it much yet.

Major Step Backwards

I had the Pixel 4XL since it came out, and it was great. Only thing that stopped working on that phone was the battery life after having it for 2 years. The Pixel 6 pro is a major step backwards from the 4XL, and I'm sure the 5. The Android 12 interface is terrible, especially the notification bar blocking the entire screen when you swipe down. I've had the 6 pro for 1 week and it has already warned me that it's running out of usable memory (RAM not storage). Never had that issue with the 4XL which had less than half the memory as the 6Pro. The lack of face unlock as an option is upsetting. All in all, this is the least impressed / excited I've been to own a new phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far I love the new phone. Been with Google phones since day one. Only issue I have is the fingerprint does not work often. But other than that. It seems perfect.

Battery getting better as adaptive battery learns your habits. Fingerprint reader ok, but wish there was one in the back. Camera great. It's a good phone, I'm glad I got it. I had a pixel 5. It's not going to change your life or anything, but it's pretty good.

The phone is a very good phone but the selfie camera is trash and the battery life super sucks. Other than that it's an amazing phone

As far as the best Android phone goes, it had to be Google themselves. It may not be the best performing device out there or have cool gimmicks like folding displays, a pen, or even a color filter, but it's exactly what a standard phone should be; a modern slab with a great UI and functionality. I'm not sure how much is attributed to the new Tensor chip, but photos are as great as ever and the phone is as smooth as literal butter. If you need a new phone or upgrading from an old phone and have the money, more than consider this phone as there is no way you would regret a phone with this much creative color.
