So far so good

My time with the Pixel 6 has been pretty good so far. I love the camera, and it's been more reliable and a smoother experience than the Pixel 4 XL I had before. The only problem I've had is that I tried to Bluetooth to my car's radio and the radio hard drive corrupted and it now doesn't work, but that's apparently a common thing with that manufacturer's radios. I need to try it with Android auto in my other car and see how it does there, because I had unending issues before with my last Pixel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So close, but not quite.

Pixel 6 pro is so close to being a Great phone. The only thing holding it back is the BUGS. If Google can fix the bugs then this will be the best phone out there. I have noted several issues that make using the Pixel 6 Pro a bit problematic. Coming from a Pixel 3xl, which is 3 generations back, the experience with the Pixel 6 pro is not an upgrade. The hardware is a huge upgrade but the experience is not better, mainly because of the bugs which make the phone less convenient to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Device

I have had several Pixels. Right before this Pixel 6 I Microsoft Surface Duo, then Pixel 4 XL. This Pixel though is by far the best thing I have used. Its fast as hell. Will get plenty of use from this device.

Amazing phone

I have been waiting for Google to do a flagship phone for years! I was happy with my pixel 2 XL but the battery was getting older so I bought the pixel 6 pro as soon as it was available. My experience with the phone has been wonderful. It does feel like a proper flagship. Tensor chip feels fast, the screen refresh rate of 120 is pleasing to the eye, the camera remains one of the best ones and overall the phone design is good. The fingerprint reader could be faster but it is good enough. Overall very happy with my phone.

A bit buggy

I've had the phone for about a week and a half. First impressions are that yes it does charge slowly, a full charge does not last as long as I expected, at times it gets really hot, camera is amazing but magic eraser function does not seem to be available, nice big beautiful screen, homepage is annoying because you cannot move the google search bar or the 4 icons above it to the swipe right side (I like to have a clean home screen when I open my phone), frequently cannot connect to internet despite full bar 5G status (many times I have to turn off and turn data back on or reboot phone to get it to work), hopefully things improve with future updates but I'm a little disappointed at the moment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most excellent computer that makes calls

I've owned Android phones since way back with a Motorola RAZR. This Pixel 6 Pro is nothing less than amazing. Fast, extraordinary screen, first rate camera, and superb Android 12.Oh yeah, it makes good phone calls too...

Please make "at a glance" optional

The phone feels super smooth coming over from a s20 but I've had this phone a week and it's already tried to make several emergency calls, post social media updates, and message random people from inside my pocket to a point where Im actually expecting it now and having to look over to see what my phone decided to do while I thought it was locked.And the "at a glance" widget is cool but not being able to move it or disable the Google search bar at the bottom of the screen is honestly terrible. The phone performs well in everything I've thrown at it with daily use but the lack customization comparing it to Samsung makes me regret buying this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had a Pixel 4 XL

The camera, and camera functions are fantastic. I like the screen and the rounded edges are nice for the side swipe functions. The Fingerprint reader was the week spot of the phone. Just received the update that has improved the read rate. The downside to the optical system is if your hands get dirty while working the reader just doesn't work. capacitive reader was much better. Face unlock was nice too.
