Excellent hardware AND excellent software

I have tried Pixel phones in the past, and compared to what was being offered by Huawei, OnePlus, and Samsung, they really seemed under powered with lower quality cameras, at times sluggish performance, and less than great displays. This phone turns all of that on its head. Google has delivered an uncompromising flagship phone - exactly what you would expect for this price. The performance is blazing fast, the camera is excellent, wireless charging with the ability to charge other wireless devices is a plus (something Huawei has been doing on their flagships for a few years, but I digress). The one and only thing that would make this phone perfect in my view would be faster charging akin to OnePlus' 65W "Warp Charge". Battery life is good - it lasts all day. I could go on and on about how great this phone is but I'm running out of allowable characters. Buy one and you won't be disappointed.

Google knocked it out if the park with this one...a true flagship phone at its best. I went from the 4xl to the 6 Pro a wow am I amazed.

Tbh I love this phone, smoothest I've ever used. Only issue I have with it stems from th terrible video performance. Is it better than previous Pixels? Absolutely. But the performance is lacking compared to the Galaxy 21 or the iPhones. Even the iPhone 10!

Amazing phone; average battery

I absolutely love this phone. I consider it a huge upgrade from the OnePlus 7T that I am coming from. It's got an amazing camera that takes fantastic shots (I haven't tried shooting videos ), a gorgeous screen, and it runs beautifully. My favorite part of the phone however would have to be the assisted voice typing. It is so accurate. In fact, I'm writing this entire review using that feature.That said, I do think that the phone is weighed down a bit by its average battery life. I find myself needing to charge the phone everyday towards the late evening where I usually start the day around 85%. Supposedly the battery life will improve over time using the adaptive battery feature, but that remains to be seen.Despite the average battery life, I would still wholeheartedly recommend getting the Pixel 6 Pro

Nice phone but needs work

I was really excited about this phone. I was watching the release videos a couple of times a week once it was announced. I even upgraded from a Pixel 5 (a phone could have skipped a generation and saved money) The camera is great, it takes better pictures than any previous Pixel or phone I've ever had. The magic eraser hasn't worked well for me when I needed it. It erases objects, but it leaves a huge splotch on the image. So I don't think I'll be using it too often.The finger scanner has been terrible so far. I have 3 fingerprints set up on my phone, all my same thumb, and it works 1 out of 10 unlock attempts. I end up using my passcode most of the time.Sometimes I have slowdowns while erasing photos. These are all issues I'm sure will be fixed in time, and nothing breaking for me. Everything else has been an improvement over the 5.

I've owned high-end Samsungs, etc...in the past and the 6 Pro blows them all away !!! Fast, smooth and the best pictures and videos available.

Find the phone to be a nice size. The hardest part has been getting the finger print reader to work and recognize all the time. But other than that everything else works pretty good. The camera works good, just when you want to deposit a check in your bank account it struggles to auto zoom but I am sure that will be corrected in a future update.

Coming from a pixel 3 XL, and the original Pixel XL before that, I was glad that I waited until the P6 Pro. As a pixel fan I have been loving my new device as it is an improvement in almost every way. The screen is bright and clear, the sounds are surprisingly powerful for bottom mounted speakers, and it's app functionality is amazing. My only gripes with the phone are it's connection to my Wireless provider (Verizon) and the lack of a Google Photos upload grace period. With the new and definitely improved camera, this would have been an amazing treat. However, that being said, the value of this phone remains excellent. I would recommend this to anyone that loves Pixel and is coming from an earlier model l.
