Until this phone I've never owned the latest "flagship" from any manufacturer. I've always waited for the issues and problems to arise, get reported, get sorted and then purchased a new device when its replacement was hitting the shelves. This time, after 2 Pixels, a 2XL and a 5a, I bit the bullet and ordered this Pro.It's superb. Couldn't be happier and yes, I would heartily recommend this to anyone.

Not ready for prime time

Sadly this phone has been a huge disappointment, and makes me miss my old Pixel 2. The camera is great, but that's all. The size, weight, awkwardly curved/shadowy screen, and general flakiness of it makes it a far less enjoyable experience than my Pixel 2. My biggest complaint is that the phone constantly disconnects from Android Auto while navigating. At this price, the phone should just work, but I feel like a beta tester. I'm likely going to switch back to my old phone or pick up a 5a.

Poor battery

Poor battery The battery just doesn't cut it. Google has to figure out the battery issue. Take lessons from Motorola. Their battery technology last very long compared to Google.

Could have done without the curved screen edges.

The good: The phone is snappy, responsive, and has a great camera. Speakers sound good, screen is nice and bright.The bad: The curved screen edges cause chromatic distortion at the edges, and touch input in the center of the screen is often confused by your fingers holding the phone on the edges.

Love the new Pixel 6 Pro phone. It has exceeded all expectations and it does everything a premium phone should do. I do miss the matte finish as it is glossy and sometimes very slippery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phone is great! Camera features are amazing and Android 12 has some really cool features. Only downside is the fingerprint sensor can be a little finicky. Still getting used to swipe and hold to close an app.

With new and great tech comes a few bugs

The Google Pixel 6 Pro is a work of art. It is the most beautifully designed phone I've seen to date. There have been some bugs experienced which is somewhat understandable. The Reddit fam has solved most of the bugs with a workaround except for the phone cutoff when Bluetoothed to a Toyota head unit. After seven minutes during a live call, the phone disconnects. This one is a tough one to deal with but 1st world problems. Hopefully an upcoming update will resolve this issue. Aside from that, this phone is incredible and super speedy.
