Pixel 6 pro battery

Overall the phone is great except the battery life and how fast it drains. I had my Pixel 4XL for 2 years use the same way same apps at work for 10 hours and still go home with 60 - 70% battery left. On the new Pixel 6 pro I am going home with 35 -40 % battery. Especially when you compare 3800 mAh to 5003 mAh. I have tried to go from 5g to 4g LTE for a day to see the difference, it gained 10% battery life. Maybe its multiple things like 5G plus Android 12 combo with larger screen. Not sure but I hate to change my phone every night.

Doesn't quite work

The phone makes calls but the Bluetooth doesn't always connect and often disconnects for no reason leaving you wondering where your music or call went to. It's especially frustrating since I wear hearing aids. Hoping that a software patch is coming to fix it soon. Video records with such horrible sound that it's basically useless. I wish I had kept my pixel 3xl. I loved that phone!

Best pixel yet, but not perfect

I really think this is the best pixel to date.... I have 2 issues with the pro. 1- the fingerprint reader is really finicky. I have a trouble getting it to read my right thumb. All other programmed fingers work great. Even after most recent update and turning on extra touch sensitivity. 2- battery life. Battery life is ok... Way better than my pixel 4xl. Maybe it will get better with time and adaptive battery... We shall see.

Great Phone, fingerprint reader, not so great.

I've had my Pixel 6 Pro for over a week now. I haven't experienced any of the problems that have been reported in the media. No ghost dialing, screen flicker, nothing. Its fast, decent battery life, beautiful display. Loving Android 12 and Assistant. I do not like the in screen finger print reader. First off, my tempered screen protector apparently keeps it from working correctly. I have a "Google approved" screen protector on back order. I loved the back side finger print reader on my Pixell 4a, it always worked, easy to reach with either index finger. The in screen reader is not an improvement. Otherwise it's a great phone, love the camera.

So so for a modern phone

Let me get this out of the way. It runs great. The camera is amazing. And the misc features are more practical and intuitive than what Samsung puts on their phones. However, charging is way too slow. And the version of android that comes with the phone is terrible and not intuitive at all. Lastly, I found the battery to drain way too fast. The battery drains very slow while not in use, but while doing your typical day-to-day phone use it drained much faster than my last phone. Overall, compared to phones from 3 or 4 years ago, its great. But if you have a flagship from the last couple of years, stick with what you have.

Gone with the good, in with the Bad

A lot of the features from the previous phones primarily from the 3 have been replaced by substandard features. Such as the 2 button navigation, the squeeze feature, and the back fingerprint reader. The 3 button navigation isn't a deal-breaker, but removing the option to have 2 button navigation is a bad choice. The tap feature to replace the squeeze was just a bad move and the relocation of the fingerprint reader isn't so bad but the back fingerprint reader made accessing your phone instant.The biggest issue i have with the phone is not being able to remove the date from the top left corner of the home screen, plus not being able to put anything in that row it's located.All in all, the pixel 6 pro is a bit of a let down especially for the price you're paying for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing phone, less battery life

I think it's one of the most premium phones I have held in my hands. And the software features are just too amazing! Small things in daily life like showing the now playing song. reminding you to see up when you are walking while texting, bedtime schedules, flip to silence notifications, they come in so handy.The only two things I feel it lacks are good battery life and controlling the volume of my google devices with the volume button. The battery is actually improving over the period of time as it learns how I use my phone. Otherwise, I am happy in general.
