I like the phone. It would earn a five star if the fingerprint reader was better and more convenient (like the pixel 5).

Next generation device

This mobile device is next generation. It is an excellent phone. It is a true flagship device without outstanding camera capabilities. The battery life is definitely all day. I definitely would recommend this mobile phone as a new purchase.

Very Fast High-Quality Display Phone

Overall a well-engineered quality device. I'm happy with it and I'll be even happier when I can finally get a good case for it, as they are out-of-stock everywhere.The biggest drawback is the flakiness of fingerprint reader. It's fair -- at best. Yes, I have the latest fix. Still bad.When will Google and the rest of the smart phone mfrs learn that all their users 1) are not under 30 and 2) do not live in non-freezing climates? Chapped skin and fingerprints don't mix well. Did they ever hear of testing on people over 40?I had a Pixel 4XL, which I loved, except for battery life. They really addressed that with with the 6 Pro. Charging could be faster, but whatever.Google needs to bring back face unlock with a software update. What is wrong with them? They spy on you for everything and then get worried about a security flaw in face unlock.I am not sure how the curved screen benefits you. It's weird and I hope it follows the dinosaurs into extinction.

Phone reception/antenna is awful

This Pixel 6 Pro has a lot of great things about it, the camera is amazing, almost everything about the phone is great except one major thing. The reception/antenna is awful! I went from the pixel 3XL to the Pixel 6 Pro. I went from a 4G phone to a 5G phone. I'm with the same carrier, but my calls drop at least 50% of the time. I've messed with the network settings to turn on wifi calling, turn off wifi calling, everything I've read and can think of I've done, yet still my calls drop half the time. While I'm driving using Android auto, my bars of reception go in and out. I still have my P3XL and this never happened to me before in my area where I live. This is starting to become a major issue... don't think this would be any type "software"update that could fix this due to the poor modem/antenna Google decided to use in this premium phone. Really upsetting they didn't beef up this part of the phone. Any ideas of how to fix this???

Device is not bad, but sadly suffers from serious issues for me. The modem chosen, the Exynos, is terrible on Google Fi. Drops connections, handoff from 5G to 4G is slow and buggy, resulting in dropped calls. Battery life overall is pretty bad. Screen, while decent, is a big step below other Android flagship rivals. Device overheats with any sustained workload. Still photography is good but video still is a mess. Selfie cam is decent at best.

It good but not great

Pixel 6 Pro is slippery from hand. You have to be very careful in holding. The finger print doesn't work properly. You have to try two to three times. And some times you have to use power button to wake up the phone to unlock.
