Great phone, one caveat.

As a photographer, I love this phone as I did my Pixel 3 for over 4 years.The display is great as is the speed of the phone. It's the camera with the wide lens complemented by the 2X zoom that makes it special for me.Image color and clarity are fantastic.The one feature I don't care for is the lack of a back button at the bottom of the screen. The back button has been superseded by a left to right finger swipe of the screen. It wasn't at first intuitive but I'm getting used to it. The challenge for me is the swipe doesn't always work with the finger swipe I give it. Sometimes there is no substitute for a button.With that said, this is a fantastic phone and camera. I will upgrade my wife's Pixel 3 to the 6 Pro soon. Many times she's a better photographer than I am.
I would recommend this to a friend!

From first unboxing I’ve been in love with this phone! It is a dream to hold and the 2k screen is the sharpest I’ve had the pleasure of using. The included USB-C to USB-C cable made transferring data from my old phone (Samsung S21 5G) fast and easy. With the camera and software, I am taking photos that are on par with or even better than my DSLR. It’s incredible what Google has done tailoring the software to work with their new Tensor chip. I haven’t had a chance to use the live transcribe/translate feature yet, but I am encouraged to book a trip in the future knowing I have such capabilities in my pocket. The fingerprint reader has worked flawlessly, though it does light up the screen in that area, which was a surprise the first time I unlocked it in the dark. Compared to my S21, the screen brightness has to be turned up further in order to have a comparable brightness, though at maximum brightness there is little difference between phones. I suspect the brightness curve is just calibrated differently, possibly to improve battery life. The battery easily lasts a whole day for me and I love the feature where it will sync the charging speed to finish right as your morning alarm goes off, saving unnecessary battery wear. The speaker is the best I have experienced on a phone. I was surprised at the dynamic range the first time I turned on some music; this has by far the best bass/mid response I’ve ever heard from a phone speaker, and the treble side holds its own too. While I love the feel of this phone in my hand, I’d recommend a case for long term use as it is a glass body. I have encountered a few bugs and software hiccups so far, but there have already been several updates, so I see no reason to believe that things won’t be polished. Overall, this phone provides top of the line security, hardware, and software in a beautiful package. It truly lives up to Flagship status.

Great Camera Phone

Pixel 6 is fantastic in all types of pictures and videos. So many great features. I find the learning curve to be high on the "swiping" feature. That is to navigate to get the screen you want to return.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google pixel 6 is a great phone. Just looking at aesthetics it's sleek and trendy. The large screen makes usage simple and can easily be read. I also like hoe the camera is set. It adds a unique feature to the phone. The only flaw is the camera. Its at 8mp where as most other phones start at at least a 10 if not 12mp. Other then that it is a great fast phone

Love the new Pixel 6 Pro

I upgrade to the Pixel 6 Pro from the Pixel 3. Pixel has been my favorite phone ever. It is easy to use, the battery life is good, and all my apps work well. The new design is great with the Invictus glass on the front and back. It is quite slick in the hand, though. I got the only available type of case I could find, which was huge, clunky and added nearly a half inch to the width of the phone. Also, the fingerprint reader did not work well from inside the case. I've elected to go with a finger ring on the back of the phone. Guess I will test the breakability of the glass!

Fantastic Phone

This phone is pretty incredible. Incredibly snappy, easy to hold and use, useful gestures and voice integration features, it even has hardware translation! The display is nice and sharp and the system comes loaded very minimally with apps. Everything is pretty intuitive in function and pleasant in form as well, I even like how they situated the camera into a bar along the back. That thing takes excellent pictures, as does the front facing camera, and audio is good too. Performance is great, won't be problems trying to run anything.Well worth it if you're hunting for a new flagship.

Too Many Issues

I had an older Pixel that I really liked. Went away from it for a time. Decided to come back to the Pixel 6 Pro. I am extremely disappointed. I am having the same issue as many others, from what I am reading online. My phone's WiFi consistently turns off and I am forced to manually turn it back on. The same thing happens to my bluetooth, just not as frequent. My phone call quality is poor in known good coverage areas. The most recent issue, YouTube stops working when I am casting to a TV. It will work from 30 seconds to 2 minutes, then just stops working. Not stops casting, stops completely working. The program does not crash, it just stop working. I restart it and it works again for a little bit. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but it does the same thing.I have read that this next update will address these issues and I sure hope they do. The phone cost too much for me to just go buy a different brand phone, because that is what I want to do. However, I am stuck with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
