A bit glitchy, but super fast!

Would have kept my Pixel 3XL for several more years, but it is no longer supported. The Pixel 6 Pro is very fast with good battery life, but I am not a fan of the fingerprint sensor on the front. It works about half the time... hoping this will be improved. The fingerprint sensor on the back was brilliant and worked so flawlessly on the 3XL. Also the Google Assistant seems to activate when I don't need it and for no reason. Love the camera and all the new features with Google Photos. This phone requires a few adjustments, but I think it will be great with time and updates.

A Great Phone

I am a phone enthusiast, a regular user for work and personal activities. I loved LG and used many LG series up to V60, early i-phone adopter and moved from Galaxy S10 to Pixel 6pro for 2 weeks now. This is a capable high-end phone, excellent display, smooth operation and beautiful cameras. Apps have been working very well without bugs so far and of course, the android customization is great. So far, I'm enjoying. Battery life is good but not exceptional even in comparism to my S10
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've only had the 6 Pro for about a week, but so far I don't have any complaints. I upgraded from the Pixel 4XL which was noticably slowing down and I was constantly at capacity for storage. Not a problem with this phone! The screen has noticably better resolution, the camera is phenomenal and I especially love the magic eraser! This processor and ram make this phone act how I think all phones should. I have very little patience for glitches and I haven't noticed anything so far. My fingerprint sensor works every time, even if my thumb is sideways because of how I'm holding the phone. I was surprised that there were even more google assistant features than that came with android 12. Google does such a great job coming up with ways to make technology even more helpful. To me, the pro is worth the price.

Lags and the idea that I thought that google would be able to make a better phone than this. On the bright side it takes really nice pictures.

Disappointed

The battery is miserable. I'm not even getting a full day of use out of a full charge. My pixel 5 and pixel 2xl both made it all day, my usage hasn't changed. The phone gets hot quickly. Also, as I'm sure most reviews mention, the finger print reader is abysmal. If my hands are dry it won't take my thumb print. I have to literally lick my finger to make it work which is obviously not an option in public. I wish I would have kept my pixel 5 and waited for something else or, even though it pains me to say, switched to iPhone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
