Excellent experience with the phone. The begging the battery drained a little quickly , but i think the adaptive battery got use to my usage and increased battery life. Never really had a problem with the finger sensor. The material theming is only for the primary apps and not third party apps which creates a disjointed look. Just let people download third party theming apps to fix that or material theme everything. The phone screen is great and and responsive. I've had no real issues with the charging being too long. A few times it might taken longer than expected, just observationally. Still getting use to the camera. I think I get in the way of the AI. But overall it takes excellent pictures. I really do enjoy the phone. My prior phone was a Samsung S20 fe which is a good solid phone (minus the screen flashing) but this experience with the 6 pro is so much better.

Good battery

Fail to see the hype around this device. It’s a decent device with terrific battery life. Don’t see anything better than the device I upgraded (Samsung Note). The daily deluge of messages, notifications and ads is overwhelming. Is it a top of the line device equal to Samsung

Great phone with fatal flaws

6 Pro here. Great phone with fatal flaws. Best Android experience available, hindered by slow charging, abysmal battery life, abysmal RF reception. Must turn off 5g radio not to lose signal everywhere that I previously had signal with my 5g OnePlus 8t. I really wanted to love this phone but it's going back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No problems so far. Setup was easily accomplished. Fingerprint sensor works just fine. Still playing with the camera features.

Excellent Product and Great Features

You read a ton of negative information out in press and social media. The Pixel 6 Pro has performed stellar for me since day one. It arrived two days before the release. I have not seen any issues. All features are present and performance is as I expected. Google has WOWed me. I think many would benefit from the features, powerful and simple operation that many other phones come close ,but are lacking. Do more with Pixel 6 Pro. It is not too big! The Pixel Buds are also provided an excellent listening experience ,hear things in music that other ear buds cannot reproduce.

Almost perfect

This is a great phone. No question about that. But there is room for improvement. I think listing the things I like would take longer than the things I don't. So just remember when reading this that anything I'm not mentioning are things I like.The screen isn't attached to this mid body. Yes it's more repairable but... The feel is off. It feels like plastic even though it's glass. The signal strength is weirdly poor. I don't know why but I get less bars with my phone now than I used to.The touch screen is also a little too sensitive.The fingerprint reader on the back was amazing. Bring it back. Please.Minor issues aside I like the phone. A lot! I'll probably be on for the pixel 7 and 8 down the line.

Generational leap over the Pixel5

Back in 2017 I committed to never owning another of the two major cell phone makers products which led me to the Pixel 2. Immediately fell in love with the genius of the un adulterated Android experience (NEVER AGAIN 'Sam'). Felt underwhelmed by my Pixel 5 so I dove into the Pixel 6 Pro. FAST responses from Google are so noticeable! The text to speech is back in the 90% accuracy! Nice bright screen and some super cool tricks with the camera! Formerly preferred to do things myself but with the 6 Pro I am far more confident of just asking the Google Assistant to do it for me. (Say "stop" or "snooze" to an alarm? Genius!)In a week this phone is already changing my interaction habits.Can't wait to learn more!
