Overall i liked the phone but only flaw i have seen is if we are swiping fro right to left, it is coming to previous page which is easy and simple but when we are watching photos or any other things, if we want to see next photo we are swiping right to left which is coming to previous page.

Great for a phone, okay for a Pixel

I've been a Google Pixel fan since I got the first one years ago. Through upgrades, I found that I loved how the phone was malleable to my preferences (thanks to the OS) but had the attractive aesthetic of an iPhone. The pixel 6 pro definitely meets those standards. The camera is incredible, and the storage is astonishing. The slightly curved display feels effortless and the trueness if the colors is unmatched. However, while this phone more than measures up as far as most smartphone standards go, it lacks the best qualities of it's predecessors. The biggest one for me is the rear fingerprint scan. Having it built in-screen does allow for a more seamless design, however as a faithful Pixel user, I'd gotten pretty used to the back scanner as a way to unlock my phone, or quickly check my notification bar. If I could change one thing, it'd be that. I've also not been impressed with the battery life. Regular use gets me 12 hours of use out of a full charge. Overall, it's alright, I guess.

This Brand-new, State-of-the-art Phone is BUGGY!

Has had some connectivity issues on voice calls -- callers sometimes can't hear me or the phone is dropping calls... having to restart the phone to get back on the network. A brand-new, state-of-the-art phone should not be behaving like this! The fingerprint sensor seems slow and fussy, too.

Big expectations, lame performance

This is the newest Google phone (bought months after release), proprietary chip, and hyped performance. Was super excited to get it, and immediately let down in the first week. The phone turns off by itself every time I try to take a video. The phone takes like 5 seconds to load the comments on TikTok. I can't publish photos on Instagram. It even took 6 weeks to get to me after ordering.I've had to keep using my old Pixel 4a to do the things I need to do. I've always loved Google, but this thing is a total hit against my opinion of their hardware capabilities, and is making my normal phone usage a nuisance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been an Apple (iPhone) user for my entire life, specifically an iPhone 7 Plus for the past 6 years, which is my main comparison. Note: the pixel pro 6 doesn’t come with a wall plug in, ONLY the cord. I was upset with this. If a household member didn’t have the correct wall outlet plug in compatible (which I’m sure many people do NOT have this) I would’ve had to go out and buy one separate, which I find ridiculous. A pricey phone should come with at least the entire charging component. I was sad there were no headphones too :(
First of all - the pixel 6 pros camera is AWESOME. I mean, it really is breath taking! It takes stunning photos and has so many settings to choose from! I’m not used to all the advanced features. I am finding new things every day, and I have been using this phone for more than a week now.
I love how fast it is. I love the clarity of the images. Something that stands out, is the bedtime feature. You can actually choose soothing music and set a TIMER for it under the CLOCK setting! I use the “calm” app and will do the rain sound.
The phone isn’t as large as I’d like, but it’s big enough. The “hey google!” Feature is fun and easy when I need my hands free! Sometimes I end up having to type to clarify what I meant anyway, but hey, phones can only do so much.
I found the “edges” of the phone to be bothersome. This phone is VERY slippery. I mean it’s constantly falling out of my pocket, and sliding across surfaces. I recommend a heavier duty case. Also, back to the edges, get a case that covers the entire screen! Or the edges will show, and it’s a hazard for a broken screen. I personally find that detail a design flaw. Again, my opinion.
Overall I still do find myself using my iphone, I like the feel and shape of it WAY more. I wish the pixel pro 6 was larger and flat, then IMO it would be perfect!
I would definitely recommend this phone, due to how advanced it is. I would say grab it on sale if possible. Check out my photos I uploaded.

Not completely happy

For the most part I love it. But, it gets too hot and shuts down. It did this during a morning work Zoom meeting. Not cool. I waited a long time for this phone.

I love Google products. I own a Fitbit (Google owns), Google Pixel buds, Google Homes, and Google Pixel. Ever since the first Google Pixel, I have been a loyal Google user. However, this new Google Pixel Pro 6 keeps restarting by itself and if I am listening to Spotify and try to take a picture, sometimes, it makes a weird continuous noise, freezes up, and then restarts. I don't if these are bugs or if I just ended up with a defective device but hope they correct the issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
