I bought this size and color of bottle for only one purpose which meant using it just a few times a year, but I immediately found that I picked it up and used it every day in place of my larger one. Both my Actives 14- and 24- ounce bottles are great and serve their purpose wonderfully (love my ice cold water). The 14 ounce kids water bottle is perfect for a couple hours on the run without being too heavy. It fits easily in my tote bag again without being too heavy. The quality is top notch and I never have to worry about leakage or a spill. It may be called a "Kids" water bottle, but this much grown up kid definitely recommends it for adults.

I purchased this bottle for my daughter because I love my 40 oz active bottle and when she saw the fun colors she wanted one too. The pros, the boot keeps the bottom protected from drops, the parts can be removed easily and washed, and the biggest seller for me was that the parts are available to buy unlike many many water bottles out there for kids. Con: the straw leaks if it is in the up position. I wish the 18 oz came in fun colors like these because I do find 14oz on hot days at school is not enough water for my 7 year old...but she does drink a lot of water so it may not apply to everyone.
