We love our Takeya actives cups. Used them for several years In kids lunches and daily errands and they still hold up very well after all this time. Even after dropping and having a small dent or two they still keep drinks ice cold. Have used other brands that stop keeping cold after being dropped. These are worth every extra penny!

I was using it without any trouble, and the color matches my other bottle, until I took it on a trip. Having water in it, it has soaked and leaked in my bag while horizontal. Needless to say, I won't be taking it anywhere or using it as much. :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely LOVE this bottle.I purchased my 1st Takeya bottle back in Dec 2017, and couldn't believe how long my ice lasted :) *Note: I was 9 months pregnant and COLD water with ICE was everything! also * Note I live in the Caribbean where its always 29 /30 degrees Celsius, and my ice lasted over 24 hours! i promise i am not lying! ... i just filed up my bottle with ice, and kept refilling the water!!, so now my daughter is 2 and decided its time for her to have her own. she loves is and loves that she has her own bottle like mommy!... i rated 4 stars ONLY because i do wish that there was a 'lid' to protect the straw.

Leaks a lot

I have had bigger Takeya water bottles for a long time and have always loved them. I bought 2 of the 14oz water bottles with straws for my toddler twins thinking they would be a great solution from some of the other sippy type cups. I am really bummed to report that unless these are completely closed they leak like crazy. I can't count how many times my twins have left them the smallest bit open and they have leaked big puddles all over my carpet or floor. We may still use these if we are out and about but I will have to find a leakproof solution for when we are at home, which is really unfortunate. I had such high hopes these would be better, especially because my twins love having cups like mom and dad and their older siblings, but it looks like we'll have to wait a few more years.

Love this bottle, doesn’t leak and is easy for my three year old to open and close. He loves it too bc it’s just like mom’s water bottle. My only complaint is that he takes the bottom cover off and it makes it noisy on our tile.
