vast improvement over isp issued equipment

I was tired of paying for outdated and slow equipment from my cable provider. I can manage the router to only allow known devices and people to use my WiFi

An excellent router

I chose this router considering the "NAS" (Network Attached Storage) capability. i.e. the USB 3 port can provide a shared drive for both Windows and Unix/Linux networked computers. It works flawlessly. And WiFi 6 is the latest - very high speed.

Fast & Dependable

I love the performance of the ASUS RT-AX86U. So far, no more dropped internet connection. It’s so much faster than our other 11 yr. old router (Not ASUS). Even the connection to our Ring Video Doorbell Pro has improved immensely. Now we can actually hear a clear conversation. I am receiving a (90) day warranty extension from ASUS for this review.

Reliable Internet

Bought this a few months ago because I didnt want to be shouldered with the shoddy Spectrum router and I have been very pleased. I've had much better wifi connection and on multiple devices and they have great customer service.

Great Coverage, Fast and Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this router for several months now and it has been great. Very easy to set up and their are a lot of tweaks and tricks within the firmware that can make it even more secure and special.

Fantastic router, easy to setup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my RT-AX86U just about a month ago. I initially bridged it with my Fios Router, but didn't like the way it ran. I then reset the router and connected it directly to Fios and it runs beautifully! No issues and hiccups. I run NordVPN on it and having that feeling of security can't beat! On my gig connection my speeds with NordVPN running are still great 875Mbps Down and 939Mbps Up.

Handles devices great

I bought this (a week ago) brand of router to handle 2 xboxs and other devices, however yesterday when I left home and went to check on my security camera it was kicked off the wifi network and I couldn't do anything until I got home. I am a little worried incase I ever go on vacation and it happens again I won't be able to check my home to make sure it is safe.
I would recommend this to a friend!
