You don't realize you need this until you have it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing small appliance, that unlike all others that get stored in the pantry, is a main-stay on my kitchen counter. I'll start off by saying that it was the promise of pached eggs that convinced me to get this - I am yet to figure out how to make that type of eggs. I'm not one to worry too much about soft, medium, or hard boiled eggs, and I have a microwave thing to make omelletes that always worked just fine for what I wanted. But this appliance can do all of that- soft, medium, or hard boiled, omelette and poached eggs.
This is essentially a steamer. Using the measuring cup provided, you place water directly on the metal tray, then you add eggs directly onto the plate, or if poaching/making an omellete, place that tray on top of the egg plate. You cap, and turn it on. When your eggs are done, the machine beeps until you turn it off. No need for a timer or anything - though the directions do give you an indication of how long it will take. Essentially, once all the water has evaporated and come out of the two vent holes in the cap, the beeping begins and only stops when you turn the appliance off.
The measuring cup has lines for the various ways to cook your eggs, and as the directions say, you should customize. I live at altitude, so I find that I need to add a little more water than is recommended- especially for the soft and medium-boiled eggs, so you may have to do a little bit of trial and error. I wish the measuring cup had like a scale on the side, so you can always know how much water to add (if making modifications), but this is not a big deal- you can mark it with a permanent marker or make indentations with a kitchen knife.
Note, when taking the lid off, be mindful of where hte vents are so you don't burn your fingers. And when they say to use tongues to remove the egg trays, definately do so to avoid burning your hands and/or dropping your eggs.
I really like the poached egg feature (see pictures), and the boiled-eggs. Because of how it works, there is no guessing as to how long you need to cook your eggs, and because of the way it works, it essentially accounts for if the eggs started at room temperature or came straight from the fridge. Note, you will need to puncture your eggs before boiling, and a poker is included at tthe bottom of the measuring cup.
Overall, GREAT appliance, highly recommend. My only "wishes" is that the measuring cup had a scale on the scale on the side, and an auto-off feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect Eggs in a Pinch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little appliance is so perfect for convenient breakfast food at home. It’s compact design means minimal clean up. It has the ability to cook eggs three ways; boiled, omelet, and poached. I love making hard boiled eggs, but don’t make them very often because of how much effort and time goes into it. It comes with a little measuring cup with clear markers of where you are supposed to fill it up for each type of egg cooking preference (poached, omelet, and boiled). You put the water on the heating plate and then place the egg tray (or add the omelet tray/poaching tray) and turn it on. The timer will go off when your eggs are finished.
As I said, I love hard boiled eggs, so I tried that first with three eggs. The instruction manual stated for 1-3 eggs and hard boiled (vs soft or medium boiled) you have a max time of 12 minutes. I set a separate timer at the same time and they both went off within seconds of each other, so the timing is pretty accurate. The only thing is, my eggs were more of a medium to soft boil instead of hard boiled. I’m okay with that though, just means that I need to adjust the timing/water a tad. Also, to prevent the eggs from cracking, the measuring cup has a very small but very sharp needle point on it so you can pierce the shell and allow for expansion of the egg and cooking. I was nervous I was going to crack the egg in my hand trying this, but I didn’t at all. It worked as it should.
The omelet feature allows for up to two eggs. I didn’t add anything to the omelet, just eggs. The omelet was fluffier than I prefer, but I think if I were to add cheese and some small additions to the omelet it would be this way. The eggs tasted great though.
Save the best for last - poached. For poached eggs, again you just fill the bottom with the measured water, and crack an egg in the poaching tray and set on top of the egg try and wait for the timer. Ridiculously easy for poaching. The shape is a bit odd for a gourmet meal, but for a quicker poached egg, you honestly can’t beat this. It cooked a perfect egg and I cannot wait to make some benedicts soon.
You get a ton of options in this small appliance. If you live eggs, you’ll love this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because I like to eat hardboiled eggs, but I usually struggle with making them. This product is easy to use and makes great hardboiled eggs. It comes with a poached and omelette attachment as well as a measuring cup with a poker on the bottom. When I made the hardboiled eggs, I filled the measuring cup to the line that said hard boiled eggs and pored it onto the hot plate. I used the poker on the bottom of the measuring cup to poke a hole in 6 eggs. I put the egg holder onto the hot plate, then placed the eggs with the hole up. I turned on the product and it cooked my eggs for 16 minutes. A buzzer went off when they were done. It was very easy to crack the shells off, and the eggs came out so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this egg cooker! It had made things so much easier to cook eggs. Especially if you make them all the time like I do. This way also makes it easier to peel the egg afterwards for a nice hard boiled egg. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves eggs.

Fantastic appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not have high hopes for this product, but I was proven wrong (happily). First, the appliance is easy to use: add some water, put in the eggs, and press the power button. Second, it is a quiet appliance, but it does the job. I made hard-boiled eggs, and they were cooked to perfection. The instruction manual said 12 minutes, and sure enough, they were perfectly done in that amount of time. For a little appliance, it heats up quickly and efficiently. Love not having to heat up a pan on the stove. This Qwik Egg saves me precious time. I can't wait to use it again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love it..It cooks hard boiled eggs perfectly. You don't have to time them or stand over a pot. The shells were easy to remove too which is a bonus. Love its small size definitely saves space. It also has the ability to poach eggs and cook an omlet although I haven't used either of these features yet. Definitely love this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the qwik egg because we like having hardboiled eggs for our salads. We thought this would be a time saver, and thought it seemed pretty cool. The problem we ran into, is that you have to poke a hole in the egg to hard boil it, which means you have to use it right away. We like to keep eggs in the refrigerator for use for a few days, but we’re unable to do so with the hole in the shell. Neither of us eat poached eggs, so we haven’t used that feature. We did make omelettes last night, and they turned out pretty good. The only problem with making omelets is I prefer a bigger omelette, but you can’t make a very big omelette, although it turned out pretty good. This is good for someone who lives alone, but it is a bit of a hassle for a family of 4.
