[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I got this air purifier to put in our bedroom, because we do also have a Bissell Air400 for our main living space (and likely to get another one for our downstairs as it works so well) but we keep our bedroom door shut to keep our cat out (he likes to scratch our baby's crib). We IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference in air quality. Our house was built in the late 70's, and while we recently moved in and will be redoing the floors we haven't yet, so there were some residual odors that couldn't be conquered. Now, however, every thing me I enter the room I pause and take a moment to take a huge breath because the air just feels lighter and feels so clean! We are expecting a newborn in about a week and a half so it was crucial for us to find a purifier that would work well for this space, and our room is actually about 50% larger than the recommended square footage for this purifier, but I think they give it a modest rating to be honest. I say this because it seems to be a similar case for our Air400- it covers a lot more space than it is rated for and with ease. I did a lot of research before buying these products, and frankly it's pretty remarkable that you can find this kind of quality, value in terms of energy costs and filter replacement costs, and efficiency in not just how much space they cover but how WELL they do it, not to mention how aesthetically pleasing they are (my wife loves the optional night light), I'm quite sure there isn't a better buy. We thought to look at Bissell because we own one of their carpet cleaners and it is the same case it terms of build quality, performance, etc. I even made a point to tell a customer service rep over email how proud they should be of what they put out, it's that good. Hopefully the time I put into deciding on this product helps save you some in the future and make the right choice! #sweepstakes
