[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the appearance and operation seems to be working well so far. My only complaint is that it's fairly noisy in the lowest setting. I feel like the fan may not balanced properly. Perhaps I should exchange it before writing this review. But overall this purifier seems to do the job nicely and effectively. If I were to change one more thing I would like the sensor to shut off (or enter sleep mode) when the air quality reaches an optimal range. Please note that I also own a Conway air purifier and I much prefer the look of the Bissell purifier, but I think the performance of the Conway is far superior.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It truly works! I live in the PNW and allergies in spring are brutal, plus I have a little furry dog. I have noticed an immediate difference in the air in my home. The purifier is located in my open floor plan living room/dining room. One of the best purchases this year for me and my family. Side note: the fan can kick in to high gear if smoke or obvious impurities enter the system. This can be loud but only for a moment( you know it's working!) this happened to me while cooking in the kitchen and not turning on my hood fan. Love this machine. Plus it is stylish and goes with our mid century modern home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So here's the thing. In general, I have loved this air purifier. I even bought a second one to keep in another room. It was quiet, and it definitely did its job. HOWEVER... for how much I paid for them, there is one glaring issue that really irks me. There is a particle sensor -- just a little device with a fan that sits in a compartment in the side of the appliance - that will absolutely start making a racket after between 6 months to a year. The first purifier I bought actually lasted longer than the second one I bought, oddly enough, but this week it has officially started its decline and I am absolutely frustrated. The main source of my frustration is that this little device is very easily removed from the air purifier as there is only a plug that attaches it to everything. Despite this, when I had reached out to customer service the first time, I was told that this was considered an "internal part" and they couldn't send a replacement part. Instead, I had to ship the entire air purifier back to them so they would send a replacement. This was such a pain in the butt, but I was hopeful that maybe it was a fluke. Now that my other air purifier has started doing exactly the same thing, I am now justified in leaving this review. It's ridiculous to not provide this particle sensor as a replacement part. Especially since it is so prone to failing after such a short amount of time. The mesh cover for it is *not* enough for it keep it from getting choked up by dust over time, which is likely why it starts to buzz after a while. And you can't easily take the particle sensor apart to clean it (I tried), nor does a vacuum or canned air help (in fact, it just makes the sound worse). It's very disappointing because this is an otherwise awesome air purifier. I don't want to have to send an entire appliance back to Bissell every year just to solve this problem. I just want the part to be replaceable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this after looking at several options (w/ HEPA as well as carbon/charcoal filter) because in relation to how much area it covered, relative to price - seemed the best value. Added bonuses were the attractive design and meter to measure air quality on a constant basis. I am not sure how accurate the meter is, though. When I set the mode to low or auto, it almost always stays in the blue range. When I set to high within the same moment in the same area, it reads much higher and stays that way - even after running several hours/overnight. And then vice versa - it reads much lower again on low speeds almost immediately, which seems odd to me. :| Long way of saying, I think it definitely helps and is a good value for the design, quality and area it covers (fairly large) - but not sure how reliable the air reader/meter is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So overall this is a great product. Everything is easy to set up and using the machine is easy. The unit looks really nice and aesthetically pleasing. The initial air quality reading in my home was 002 so it hasn't had to do much work and is left on Auto mode. When we cook and the house smells like food, the reading increases slightly so I know it works and usually has the house odor free again in a couple hours. I placed the unit in my living room and have a 1,755 sqft home. The unit on modes 1-3 are fairly quiet, modes 4-5 are pretty loud.
