Enjoy piece of mind

Very satisfied with my purchase so far, easy to set up, i did a pre setup before installing onto my house.
Lots of features that I’ll have to learn, such as sensitivity of motion, so I cut down on notifications.
Apparently I can block my plants that swing in view that set off the camera!
Good quality video
Over all after I set it up properly it’ll work how I want it

Terrible set up

My dad is a computer IT and he still couldn’t figure how to set it up.
Returning as it wants me to pay $300 to get a Swann installation person, I’m not paying that.

Horrible Security System, Don't Waste Your Money.

I own 2 of these NVW 800 systems, One unit with 2 - 1080 hd Cams and One Unit With the 4K Cams.
These Wireless Security Systems are not i repeat not dependable as you home security system, Picture quality is ok in live view, just watching the Cams,
However if you are expecting a clear video or picture of moving objects or people, think again. daytime video recording are choppy broken up and not i any way close to the quality needed for identification in the event of a break in or occurrence.
Night time still video is ok but non existent for any moving object as anything that moves as humans, animals etc, are all blurry and pixilated, nothing like the advertised images on Swanns promotional videos and images.
The 4 K cameras have horrible gargled microphone and speaker sound, Horrible Night Vision.
The 1080 hd Cams do have great quality speaker and Mic sound enought to hold a clear two way conversation.

After 5 months of testing and upgrading the whole house wifi to an ultra high speed Down and Upload,
Upgrading Buggy and Faulty firmware on the NVW and Cameras and dealing with warranty claims regarding faulty cameras and one recorder,
I would never buy a WiFi system again for outdoor security,
Indoor might be ok as the wifi signal does not have to travel through brick or aluminum siding exterior walls.

However if you are considering a Swann security system, stay away from the WIFI units and buy one of their wired NVRs or DVRs
Just some advice, Support on these systems can be hit and miss depending on the support personnel, but Swanns warranty is Good and they do Repair or replace any defective item,
