Ice cold air

I can compare it with a regular fan I used to turn on in the past when the heat was exhausting. This little thing is MUCH MORE COOLING.

Easy in use

Replacement cartridge is good. Same quality as the one that comes with the unit. It is easy to replace as well. I don't know if replacing the cartridge really has any benefits though. I'd like have more information about why it needs replaced and how you can tell that your cartridge needs to be replaced.

Great product

Great product, does exactly as described. Got it for my boyfriend as he's always hot. Now we can actually be together in one room without him complaining he is too hot or me that I'm too cold. He just has his personal bubble where he's comfortable! :)

I was curious if this really did make a difference over a fan. I used a meat thermometer to get a reading of the *room temp, *the fan blowing & *the evapolar blowing. I was fairly surprised to see a 10 degree drop with the evapolar since using my little fan on low felt like it was doing a better job of cooling. I think because it has to go thru an air filter it has less oomph and feels less powerful. The temp reading does show that it is doing its job and I think it's fine up close & personal. For the price, a fan is probably still a better choice for cheap cooling, but the evapolar does add some nice humidity to the room.
