good but has its cons

Good product that is easy to carry around and help you work with it at many conditions. There are 2 problems though the temp decrease is focused on a smaller area and also the surface where we place this should be flat and not slanted even a little or water seeps out.

small but mighty

This machine is small but mighty. It cools well if you keep water in the reservoir. There are a few cons though:
-You can't control the output temperature. It cools based on how hot the ambient temp is, which I'm fine with b/c I don't have AC in my little SF studio.
-The LED has already given out. I can manage b/c all I care about is that it cools and if I can turn off the ambient lighting if I want to use this while I'm sleeping. It's kinda crappy though that I've only used the product for 30 minutes, saw the LED display flicker, and it is already non-functional.

Might be your solution

I commute to work by bike and my office tends to be humid and stuffy. Thus, I was looking for a solution to help me cool off and not be a disgusting mess on hot days. The evapolar was the perfect solution. It is simple to use, starts cooling quickly, and does an excellent job of cooling the entire area around my desk. I highly recommend the Evapolar for a quick personal cooling solution. In fact many folks in my office are quite jealous and I have recommended it to them as well.

cools down the air as long as it's not very humid

It, at least, meets my expectations. It really cools down the air as long as it's not very humid in the room. Water tank lasts at least 8 hrs on 2nd speed setting.
