I bought this a month ago for our bedroom because my husband and I noticed how much better we felt when we’re around the larger one we have in our living room. I’m so glad we got this one as we’re breathing better at night and sleeping much better, too! We both have allergies and this is like having fresh air without opening a window! We absolutely love our Total Clean 5-in-1 air purifiers! The filters are easy to keep clean and only need to be replaced annually. They work great!

Bought this for my bedroom and began using it today, so I can't attest to how great it is doing. I'm having renovations done in the kitchen and bathroom near my bedroom so I'm hoping to keep all the odd, toxic and unhealthy odors at bay with this purifier. I'm severely allergic to many odors, including perfumes, smoke and several others.
I do wish the unit had a handle so I could freely pick it up. When you have arthritis and it's difficult to bend, a handle would make life much simpler if necessary to move the unit. I find if I try to move the unit, I'm putting my hands on the control area etc. Not as I wish it had been designed but nevertheless workable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This HoMedics-Totalclean 5 in one Tower Air Purifier is a great air ourifier. I Have been sufffering with terible allergies this past spring and summer, and it definitely has helped to lessen my symptoms considerably. It states that it performs 5 functions((kills germs, removes allergens, reduces odors and removes 99% allergens). I do like that you may add essential oils on the pads,( which is optional) and that it has a timer. Though it states this is for a smaller room, since we have open area that combines several rooms, I have noticed a considerable difference in the relief of my allergies in the entire area.

We purchased 3 large units for our office. They worked so well we reordered them for every room. The UV does a great job and the filters keep all rooms allergy free--an added bonus!
