Poor design

Our unit that we had less than 6 months needed a bulb replacement. It shouldn't be a big deal until I tried replacing it. The designer of this unit obviously never tried to replace it. It's almost impossible. Very poor design. Wished we didn't buy it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I suffer from asthma and since I moved into my apartment I have had numerous episodes of difficulty breathing, coughing, etc. Within one day I could feel a difference in the air . quality of my apartment. I am completely happy with my purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After spending 30 years married to a smoker I can not express how refreshing it is to be able to have clean pure air in my bedroom once again , which is the designated room were my husband is allowed to smoke . This machine immediately takes his smelly smoke out like magic allowing me the best night sleep I have had in 30 years ! My allergies have also improved significantly also ! I only wish I had this sooner !

The HEPA-TYPE filtration removes up to 99% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, such as allergens, pollen, dust, germs, pet dander, odor, mold spores, and smoke from air that passes through the filter. The Carbon Odor Filtration reduces household odors and VOCs. The UV-C technology kills germs, viruses, and bacteria.
