I love Ott floor lamps and bulbs and have them throughout my house to use for reading and stitching without shadows. My husband and I have used them for years. My only issue is that the switch on this latest lamp is not very easy to use; it doen't always operate on the first press and the switch location is somewhat

This light has a harsh glare, even on the partially turned on setting. Also, the on off button is chinzy and cheap feeling-doesn’t always work.

This light wasn’t difficult to assemble. I like the three levels of lighting, but the button to change the light levels is very wobbly. It makes me wonder how long the button will actually last. For the amount that I paid for this light, I would expect a better design for a part that will get so much use. Time will tell.

Lamp uses two fluorescent bulbs. Some ppl choosing LED lights would need to look elsewhere in Ottlite website.

The Switches on Ott lights are horrible

I bought the 36w pivoting shade floor lamp 8 months ago. The lamp is great until the switch breaks. The switches on OTT lamps are terrible. Why they don't improve this weak point is hard to understand.
