Glad I made this purchase

I just installed it onto my laptop. I am going to use it for streaming. It is a vary self explanatory installation process, but they also include instructions on how to install and start usinging it as a second screen. This will definantly help better my streaming because before I had to use my 40 inch tv as a second screen and looking up at that to check chat, then back down to play the game then back up to check chat again was quite literally a pain in the neck. Now I'll hardly have to move my head at all to see what is going on. And to make things even better, with where I work you almost need 2 screens and everyone uses a common desktop monitor and hooks their laptop into that. Now I just need an empty desk set down my laptop and slide out the screen for my second display. I haven't used it too much yet but the installation plus the drivers (directions to drivers included with the product) took maybe 5 min. Although I am going to let the tape from the metal plate settle a bit before I go crazy with it. But all in all, this is a great idea for a product and I am glad I made this purchase

I use it for work and it’s a good size in retrospect to the Mac I already had.. I like having the option to attach the screen to my Mac or let it stand alone.

Best purchase for a college student

I am currently a sophomore in college, and I have to say this as one of the best things I have bought to help with my work. Having the ability to keep my papers on one screen and do research on another has helped tremendously. I would highly recommend this product to someone who is a student to boost their productivity.

Buen producto pero para para jugar ralentiza la computadora

Compré la pantalla principalmente para poder jugar mejor. Sin embargo, baja mucho la velocidad hasta el punto que cuesta jugar con ella. En ningún momento encontré un requerimiento especial en cuanto a la capacidad de la tarjeta de video o de la computadora, por lo que no pude anticipar este inconveniente.La laptop es de muy buena calidad, es rápida y soporta 4k.

Screen goes dark at times when switching from one monitor to another. Picture is not as clear and blurry when watching videos.

Freezes

I want to like this product, I bought for my 13 inch Mac book. I do not like that I have to download an app in order for this to work, and I think that may be the cause of the screen freezing then blacking out, then coming back on. It is super annoying while I am trying to work. Why can't it just be plugged in and work like other monitors?Anyway, I do really like how it attaches to the back and slides out. I don't have the issue of it falling off as the instructions state to make sure you have the bottom resting on the tabletop. I don't think I would chance it by walking around with it unsupported due to complaints.It is hard to say if I would recommend as state above.
