This is a first class and superbly innovative product and really useful - unfortunately I cannot use with my CAD software, as it requires unsupported hardware acceleration.

Just got this for xmas, and I'm really impressed. But lets start with any negatives. This screen doesn't have great color, and the brightness likely doesn't go up as high as your main display. My laptop has USB 3.2 gen 1 and the screen is a bit sluggish compared to the main display when dragging windows around. Don't know if faster USB results in better performance. Using this screen for gaming will only work if your FPS requirements are extremely low (I threw Eve Online on it just to test it, playable but not great performance). So don't buy it for gaming.What it does well though is fantastic. That's a second screen for productivity, like I got it to throw on visual studio for code editing. I could see it used to display Zoom meetings, teamspeak, etc. It is also great for throwing up a browser window, youtube, netflix, stuff like that. Mine came with 3 sets of the metal plates, you will need 2 of them if you want to support having the screen work on both sides. Most people probably don't need that, but if I'm sitting in my car I need it to be on the right, and if I'm in bed I need it on the left, so really nice it comes with plenty.The design is pretty slick, where the magnets are incredibly strong. I was only able to get it to start to slide down if I attached it off centered. Since this connects via USB that means I still have my HDMI port available if I need even more screen space. I could see the feature where you can flip it around backwards to also be handy. Overall for what it is, this thing is great and I'd highly recommend, especially since it comes in around 2/3 the price of the more prominent brand.

This screen is a game changer for me. I needed a double screen because I travel between four different schools and have to do a lot of paper work. It works great with both my iMac air and my Lenovo. The magnets are strong.

Great Alternative

I used to have dual monitors when I reported to work but they were huge and took up all my desk space. This is a wonderful alternative since I now work from home full time. I wish I would've found this sooner. The monitor is bright and the install was rather easy.

I have a second monitor in my office, but wanted a portable one so I could work outside by the pool. This is an awesome product! Highly recommend it!
