Love the extra Space!

At my office, I am used to working on multiple screens. Since I love to do my work at coffee shops, I always feel less productive because I am limited to just my laptop screen. Not anymore! It's great to have this extra space so I can keep up my productivity everywhere I go.

Just received this item today. Working on a small Pixelbook, I needed the extra screen space. The instructions were easy to follow. As soon as I plugged in the Duex, everything was working straightaway (no drivers required, etc...because I'm using a Pixelbook. Very pleased.

Awesome for travel!

I purchased this extra monitor as a way for me to be more productive when I am on work travels as I normally have two monitors when working at my desk. I went with the DuexPro because I loved the feature of the monitor being magnetically attached to the back of my laptop as there is not always a table to prop up a tablet if you are using a second monitor that does not attach. Overall this product is great!

Innovative, but some issues

The magnets continued to slide off my Mac due to the weight of the screen. I recommend a computer protection cover, that’s plastic. Have not had a problem since.
After a year of off and on use for school, I’ve noticed something is pressing against the screen from the inside, creating loss a display in two spots. This happens 1/2” off the port side of the unit and 2” from top and bottom. I’m afraid it will eventually cause the screen to stop functioning.

Duex Plus

I bought the Duex Plus monitor from the Kickstarter campaign, and it has been amazing. I use it daily, and it makes working remotely from anywhere so easy. I can literally work anywhere now. It was the best thing I bought when I started working from home. The magnets take a little work to get in the right place when you first get it depending on the size of your laptop, so more magnet stickies would be helpful.
