Great Product Idea, Poor Build Quality

I received my Duex Plus as a kickstarter backer exactly a month ago. While I've been happy to finally have it in hands to use, I've been very disappointed in the build quality of the product. It seems like I was shipped a prototype rather than a final version of the product.
I'm super happy with the screen quality, but a few of the parts seem to have flaws from the manufacturing process. The metal pieces that allow the screen to slide arrived will visible cracks that seem to be flaws from the casting process. The silver magnets that came with the screen have red lines on the back someone drew on with a marker during manufacturing. They can’t be seen when the screen is on, but when it’s just the magnets on my laptop they are rather unsightly. Today, I noticed a crack in the plastic at the end of the frame's track opposite where the screen slides out, originating from the small metal piece inserted into the track there. I've only lightly used the product at my desk, and haven't taken it on the go very much. At this rate, I don't expect this product to last very long, even when only lightly used. It's not worth the price if this is the level of quality to expect.

Lightweight, compact and efficient for mobile/remote traveling work. Would recommend to anyone who normally uses more than one monitor and may need another one while on the road. Thanks MP!!!

Awesome Work Real Estate

The extra screen is beneficial, the ability to adapt to different computers makes it worth while. Additional adaptation to gaming consoles like Nintendo switch makes for great use especially during road trips and vacation where two player capability is needed.

Save your money, this was designed by buffoons. Intermittent connectivity issues. Product does not even work with their kickstand.

Makes working more efficient

I bought myself the trio several months back and decided to buy my wife the Duex as we like to travel often and have the luxury of working remotely. Once again, MP comes in clutch, she loves it and makes her job so much easier being on the move.
