Broken device - 6 months into use - how do I get a replacement

Hey! I LOVE my dual monitor! But the track cracked and now i need a replacement. Be gentle with it, as I travel a LOT and it is used a LOT.

Easy to setup and use. Just don't use it all day.

Kickstarted this product and have been extremely happy with it. Only one driver to install. If your computer's usb port doesn't put out much power, you may have to get a powered usb hub. Otherwise it's a single cable to connect. It does get a bit hot over time though. I wouldn't recommend using it for long 8 hour stretches but good product in a pinch.

Yes, you can use two Duex Pro Monitors at the Same Time

I have a specific application that necessitated a monitor like the Duex Pro. I normally work in an office and have two monitors hooked up to my laptop (total of three monitors) that allow me to work three screens at once. I will be working from home for a while, and could not see myself doing the detailed work I do without additional monitors. But my apartment is particularly small, without much space for traditional, additional monitors. Enter MobilePixels Duex Pro Portable Monitors.I bought two monitors - one to place on the right side of my laptop monitor and one for the left side. Every easy to set up. As the instructions indicate, all you need to do is affix the included adhesive-backed metal discs to the lid of your laptop. It only takes four discs, but they must be placed according to instructions and you should wait around three hours before use to let them more strongly adhere to your laptop.Once the four discs are secure, set up the first Duex Pro Monitor as instructed, with the monitor sliding out to the right of the laptop. You will need to download and install the monitor's driver. The instructions indicate that you need Admin access to install, but I didn't find that to be an obstacle. I just downloaded and installed without switching to Admin without any problem.When you plus in the monitor to your laptop's USB-A or USB-C outlet, the monitor will flash on, then off, and will finally power up within a minute. At that point, you can configure your view within your laptop's display options as explained in the enclosed instruction book. This entire process took only a few seconds!For the second monitor, I wasn't completely sure how to attach it. I spoke with Jack at MobilePixels Support, and found out that it was embarrassingly easy: just place the second Duex Pro Monitor stacked over the first one (see second picture), but with the monitor sliding out to the left of the laptop! Because of the extraordinarily strong magnets, the second monitor held as securely as the first. Since you've already downloaded the driver from the first, all you need to do is go to your laptop's Display settings to enable the second monitor. One point of clarification - the second monitor started out displaying as upside-down for me. Easy fix for PCs:1. Right-click on your screen and select Display settings.2. Select the left-hand (upside down) screen in Multiple Displays.3. Select “Landscape (flipped)” from the drop-down box: Display orientation.4. Confirm that the display appears as desired, then select "Keep Settings"As you can see from my first picture, the two monitors work exactly as desired. I can easily drag files and tabs to and from any screen. The image quality is very good! Each monitor is very light weight and stacked together they are still light enough not to interfere with my work routine. Both monitors (together) should easily fit in my work bag, although to be fair my case is not small.Overall, the monitors work very well, provide great visual clarity and due to their portability provide exactly the flexibility that I was looking for to work in a small space, whether on the road or at home.

Super surprised by how light this was and the quality is amazing! Very sharp and looks good next to my retina display on my macbook! This screen for sure will be getting some daily use! Couldn't be happier with it! Worth the wait of shipping being slow due to the virus going around right now. If you work from home on a laptop and looking to make your workflow better I would recomend this product 20/10

I was really looking forward to this and followed the installation instructions for my MacBook Pro but no luck. I contacted the support team who send me instructions but they were in written in a confusing style (google translated, maybe??) and, in any case, didn't solve my problem. Returned for a refund.

Great option if you're WFH

I'm glad I took the plunge and bought this portable monitor for my Apple MacBook Air 13 in. I'm in marketing and since I can't work in the office, I'm left with using my MacBook. Since I have a ton of different programs I have to use (e.g. Microsoft teams, HubSpot, Canva, Excel, etc.) It's made my work load more sufficient. I don't suggest using the dual monitor for any photograph/photoshop edits since the monitor is more on the dimmer side. Minor cons: Text is smaller. Also, I don't know if it's because I have a MB air, but with the magnets being on the back of my screen + the dual monitor attached, it has created more weight causing my MacBook screen to tilt back often. Also with the use of the dual monitor, I noticed my battery tends to drain faster too.

You need to download software for this to work with your laptop

I had to leave a 1 Star review as I returned the monitor as it was not what I expected. This monitor require’s you to download third party software to use. Unfortunately I wanted to use this on my work computer and can’t because I don’t have the admin rights to download the software. This would have been great if it was a plug and play!
