Portable monitor

Overall good with a few things to keep in mind.

Overall great product. One thing to keep in mind is that the bezels on top and bottom are not equal. When extending the screen towards the right as displayed in majority of the pictures the thicker bezel will be on the bottom of the screen. If you decided to rotate screen harness to extend towards the left side instead the thicket bezel will be on top. Most of the advertising pics mislead in this aspect because it majority of their pictures the bezels look equally thin. Aesthetically imo it does not look as good when extending towards the left because the thicker bezel is on top of the screen. If they would have went with an equally thin bezel on both top and bottom of screen this would have been more aesthetically pleasing.

Connection Fails Intermittently***updated

I really wanted to like this product. I bought two on kickstarter, one for traveling and one as a gift. After having it for almost a year, I haven't gifted the second one and will not likely do so. The idea is great, to have an extended monitor. The quality of the image is good enough for my 2016 macbook pro and it connects with a USB-C. The issue I have is that the screen blacks out intermittently. Sometimes it completely disconnects causing all my open screens to come on my laptop and when it reconnects, I have to drag things over again to the portable screen.***Update***11-19-19The company sent me this version of the monitor, the DUEX Pro and gave me some guidance on the settings for optimal performance. I am happy to report that this one works well with my 2016 Macbook Pro with a touch bar after adjusting some settings. I took it on a work trip recently and used it at home. It is light enough to travel with, just a little bulky, but it's a monitor. Having the correct settings made a huge difference, it no longer disconnects unexpectedly. I recommend if you have this and you have trouble, try contacting the company. They are very helpful and responsive. I am excited to have this extra monitor to work when I am not in my office!

It's a bit heavy which becomes a problem if it's not placed on a hard surface so that it can wedge itself up. Otherwise, the weight pulls the lid down backwards. Once the entire thing fell off and pulled a magnet off with it--the adhesive isnt very strong.Display looks great and was easy to set up. Didn't expect it to be so plastic for the high price...would have liked to see some light weight aluminum or something vs the brittle plastic. Room for improvement in the tracks when sliding the monitor in and out.Overall: LOTS of room for improvement but given the uncompetitive market and the convenience of this concept, I would recommend this product.update: after a couple weeks its slightly sagging down to the right under its own weight and the magnets are consistently not strong enough (maybe increasing the # of magnets would help)

This thing is great. I work on the road all day everyday so this adds a huge efficiency boost. It never leaves the back of my laptop and I hardly use the laptop without the dual screen slide out
