I was ify because some reviews said the magnets were not sturdy. I have not had issue with it at all! Soooo thankful for this technology! I have been able to have duel screen everywhere I go!

Great and useful concept, poor execution

Here's the positive to begin with:The product arrived in a VERY nice box that suggests high quality.Setting it up, installing the driver and connecting it to the laptop is a breeze. Very easy and user friendly.The screen itself produces a nice, good quality picture and sets itself to the best screen resolution.Now, there's the not nearly as good part:Unfortunately, the product itself does NOT live up to the expectations produced by the very appealing and professional looking box it's packaged in. (with exception to the aforementioned attributes)The frame and sliding mechanism is very flimsy and doesn't appear to be very durable.As a matter of fact, all the plastic used for this product feel cheap and incapable of withstanding the test of time. I have used 3-4 times only so far and the gaps between the frame on the screen already seem to be widening.The magnets are not strong enough to keep the monitor in place steadily without having to keep readjusting.Bottom line:I don't feel the product is worth it's price tag, thus I'll be returning it soon.

Cheap feel/design for Price

Magnets and adhesive on them were not strong enough to stay on my laptop. I never even got to put it in my bag to test it out while in school or work. Extremely cheap plastic for the housing and terrible hinge design. Get a normal portable monitor instead. This product still needs some work.

Amazing boost to my productivity on a laptop

I rely on two screens for programming (copying from stack exchange etc) and this provides that in a thing light mobile package. No more getting forced out of Starbucks back to my depressing apartment just because of my laptop's single screen. I can just slide this out and continue working.Works on Windows flawlessly. Installing the display link drivers on ubuntu was a bit more annoying and came along with the usual ubuntu 19 bugs but overall it works well on ubuntu too. Highly recommend!

Can't get it to work

I had my IT guy install this. He had it working on Dec. 31. I tried it today and it won't work. When I plug it into my laptop the screen lights up for a second with the company symbol and then goes dark. My laptop makes the noise it does when a new piece of hardware is attached. But it does not see the monitor.Mobile Pixels has so far failed to respond to my email and its website does not provide a number to call. If I don't get this straightened out real fast, I'm returning it.

Pretty nice monitor overall

It's pricey but I was willing to bite the bullet for the lightweight and being able to attach it to my laptop directly instead of needing to find more space to set another monitor. It could use another set of magnets as it slides down if not placed at precisely the right spot.I usually don't leave reviews but I was having a problem with mine and the support was EXCELLENT and got me an adapter the next day after they figured out the problem. Because of the excellent support which is so hard to find these days I felt the need to leave a review.Thanks for your help and I'm looking forward to working with this monitor now that it works correctly.

Duex Pro Portable Monitor for Laptops

This is an awesome product. My company keeps giving me a smaller laptop each refresh. I have to have several screens open and one time for my work. With a small screen that means something is always in the background and extra clicks need to be done to bring it up front. With the dual monitor that is a thing of the past. Easy setup and mounting. A must have for pc geeks.
