I love this and use it all the time! It does make the screen a bit heavy and is difficult to use without a desk or a table, but totally worth it.

The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the application of it, or lack thereof. Screen works perfectly, seamlessly, and exceeded my expectations....when it comes down to functionality of the screen. But what is the deal with this case????? And the magnets......SMH........representing MIT and and the best you could come up with was 4 magnets??????? That aren't even that strong. Opening up my laptop is enough to make it slide off let alone trying to pull the screen out to use. I've experimented with placing more than 4 connectors since they provide you with so many (which makes sense in retrospect), it helped to hold it in place but only if I extend the screen 3/4 of the full length: which results im the whole left side of the 2nd screen being covered. I don't feel the need to return, or to be refunded, because I love it. A lot actually. Just need to figure out how to make the application of the case more efficient without damage to my laptop.P.S. If the Deux Pro is supposed to be how they're portrayed in all their marketing videos then damn do they need to clean house in "Quality Control".....or were those different then the ones you sell?

I ordered the Duex Pro during Covid19. I needed an extra screen but did not have space for an additional monitor. I am very pleased with my purchase. I had a bit of difficulty getting the settings correct but the Duex team was extremely helpful. Highly recommend for those that need another monitor! Very compact and perfectly suited my needs for working from home and also travel.

Excellent Second Screen

I used this on my Dell. It works perfectly as a second screen. I was skeptical at first to see if this would work. I paid 200 for this item at the time I bought it and I thought it was well worth it. I have used it on battery and it did not destroy my battery life. It has made working dual screen on the go very feasible and has made making working on my MBA without a major desktop setup possible. Excellent product. I also like that it connects and can be adjusted with the magnets on the back of your laptops screen possible. I also like how easily you can remove it from the back of your laptop if you do not need it. Overall a great option.

I am an attorney that often reviews multiple documents at once. I was looking for something easy to extend my laptop while working from home or at a deposition. The Duex Pro works flawlessly! My workflow is faster. I highly recommend it!

The concept is cool but the extra monitor is wayyyyy heavier than i thought. It adds at least a good 5-6 lbs to your laptop. I don't even mind that but what bugs me is the USB cord became extremely sensitive and would disconnect any time i would move my laptop. It worked fine for the first 3 months but this just makes it impossible to work. Maybe if they added a wireless port and made the monitor not as heavy this would be a perfect product.

Ideal way to have a 2nd "portable" monitor for a laptop on-the-go & improve productivity

I have purchased this item and found it to an ideal way to have a 2nd portable computer monitor screen to improve my productivity while on the go in a mobile configuration, i.e., used with my laptop. I use it primarily to watch Udemy / YouTube computer science / networking video tutorials on one screen and code with an IDE or work with Cisco Packet Tracer and/or GNS3 networking simulator on the other screen. Note I can't use this with my laptop when I use my laptop on a cooling (active fan) stand for the DUEX DUO needs to be positioned on the backside of the laptop case so it is able to touch the table the laptop is sitting on (and my active fan cooling pad is raised and prevents this). However, I do not carry / use my active cooling pad when I go to my university, ergo this dual monitor setup is ideal for me. When I choose to use the DUEX PRO unit at home while I have my laptop on the active cooling pad / stand I simply purchased their optional accessory kickstand and use it in this way. This purchase to me was a "no brainer" in terms of vastly increasing my productivity and study habits while "on the go." I would purchase this item again in a New York minute, but thus far I'm very happy with my purchase and give it two big "thumbs up," insofar as a buying recommendation for those whom desire a 2nd computer monitor that is portable in nature.
