I bought the T14s to replace a T470s that I had had for 5 years because the warranty was ending and the T470s even with an i7 processor did not meet the system requirements to run Windows 11. Also keep in mind that the gen 2 is the last version that has the classic ThinkPad keyboard that so many people like. I am very happy with my purchase.
