A smart all-in-one security and Wi-Fi solution

The Ring Alarm Pro Base Station is one of the more practical smart-home upgrades we have used because it combines several important functions into a single system. Instead of having a separate alarm hub, router, and network-security setup, the Alarm Pro integrates home security with an eero Wi-Fi 6 router, which helps simplify the overall setup.
The 8-piece kit is a solid starting point for a smaller home or for someone who wants to build out a larger Ring system over time. It includes enough equipment to protect several doors or windows and add motion detection in a key area such as a hallway, entryway, or living space. Additional sensors can always be added later, which makes the system very flexible.
Setup was relatively straightforward. If you are already familiar with Ring products, everything works together in the Ring app, which makes arming, disarming, checking sensor status, and managing devices easy. I like having one central place to manage the security side of the home instead of having to jump between multiple apps.
The built-in eero Wi-Fi 6 router is one of the features that really separates Alarm Pro from a standard alarm system. Wi-Fi coverage of up to approximately 1,500 sq. ft. from the base station is useful for many homes, and the system can be expanded with compatible eero devices if additional coverage is needed. Combining Wi-Fi and security into one unit also reduces the number of separate boxes and pieces of equipment around the house.
The security system itself is responsive. Door and window sensors report changes quickly, and the motion sensor adds another layer of protection for areas where someone would likely pass through after entering the home. The system is also easy to customize depending on which sensors you want active in Home or Away mode.
Another advantage is the ability to expand the ecosystem. Ring offers additional contact sensors, motion detectors, keypads, cameras, doorbells, and other accessories, so you are not locked into the original 8-piece configuration. For someone already using Ring cameras or a Ring doorbell, Alarm Pro fits naturally into the same setup.
There are a few things to keep in mind. The 8-piece kit is a starter system, so a larger home will probably require additional contact sensors and potentially additional Wi-Fi coverage. Some of the more advanced monitoring, connectivity, and security features may also depend on the Ring subscription plan you choose, so it is worth comparing the available plans before purchasing.
I also think the biggest value comes from using both sides of the product: the security system and the eero networking features. If you already have an expensive mesh Wi-Fi system that you are completely satisfied with, some of the Alarm Pro's value may be redundant. However, if you are upgrading both home security and Wi-Fi at the same time, the combination makes a lot of sense.
Overall, the Ring Alarm Pro is a strong option for anyone who wants a security system that can grow with their home while also consolidating their Wi-Fi equipment. It is easy to manage, highly expandable, and especially convenient if you already use other Ring products.

I love my Ring products. Such an easy to use system, with easy DYI installation. Having the app with all of its capabilities makes this product easier. I would recommend having additional ring products to further secure and monitor your property.

I am very satisfied with my ring alarm and monitoring service. My base station is located in the cupboard above my stove bc that’s a central location for me. It stays connected to my ring products. It was an easy setup all around. No need to hire anyone.

I like it because it looks so nice. it's small and easy to accommodate. it sounds loud but nice and lasts quite a bit. my sister uses the app to use it better. the battery makes the alarm work.
